Mann staged 32 individual, extraordinary exhibitions and annual special exhibitions on photography of abstractive image and Rayonnisme around Taiwan / Formosa. Mann was the first exhibitor around the country. All of the invited displays were by the Taiwan’s Government, cultural and artistic organisations, and sponsors. Mann’s earliest exhibition took place in the National Taiwan Arts Education Center (Museum) on 19 December 1983 when Mann was 25 years old; Mann was the youngest exhibitor in the history of the Center in any solo exhibitions. The Center that was opened in March 1957, kept a collection of Mann’s work. It is currently updating the Center’s internal organisation and strengthening co-operation with leading centers and museums around the world. Meanwhile, it widened the center’s scope to increase its emphasis on Taiwan’ regional culture and folk arts.

Mann’s works is the beginning of modernization in the modern abstract arts of Taiwan, China and greater Chinese society in the world. In 1980, Theophilus Raynsford Mann completed his first book - scenario original “The Soul's Sentimentalizing”, also named: “Hun Yun : Jin Qi Tu Rui” 電影原著《魂韻》(衿契吐蕊) then Mann was at the age of 22. In 1983, The General Library of the University of California, Berkeley in the United States of America, collected and kept Mann’s writings - scenario original 「魂韻 : 衿契吐蕊」“Hun Yun : jin qi tu rui”, included a musical composition of his own – “Sonate Nr. 1 C-dur op. 3 für Klavier (piano)”, composed on 3rd April 1977 then Mann was 18 years old. The works were published in 1980; the theme was based on “The Soul's Sentimentalizing”. Another masterpiece was an Album of Academic Work for News Publication “Theophilus Raynsford Mann Photographic Exhibition of Rayonnisme / Rayonism”, published in 1985. The Hathi Trust Digital Library, the University of Michigan also collected and kept Mann’s writings.
Authorship
Mann’s articles and writings were published in more than 200 different kinds of domestic and foreign magazines, newspapers, and periodicals, in the period between May of 1972 and 1990s. It was all started when Mann was just 13-year-old. Many of which have been very influential. These have been quoted by Western and Eastern scholars many times in the last few years, making Mann one of the highly cited technological, artistic, and managing public administrators in the world in the late 20th and early 21st century. The Ministry of the Interior in Taiwan had registered Mann’s professional writings and given him two certificates of copyright. The numbers are 33080 and 33081 on 4th July of 1985; and Taiwan’s Gazette of The Presidential Office issue No. 4499, featured his writings on 4th September 1985.

I hate the big australian banks
the weekend newspaper headlines
on our ' banks soaring profits' make
my blood boil at the greed that has
overtaken these institutions
This is what happens when 'new customers'
are more important than 'current customers',
and profit becomes the key driver in business.
New customers are offered interest free deals
and no transaction fees while old customers
pay 19% on credit cards and their accounts
are 'skimmed' with an ever increasing set of
devices, charges and fees while a deluge of
increasingly ridiculous ads tell us how good
they are....
so, in advance, sorry to take advantage
of this photo to have a moan, and please
dont feel that I expect anyone to have to
trudge their way through my ramblings
....its just my opinion but ....
I hate the way the banks have given up
their social responsibilities in their
lust for profit and growth
I hate the cosy collusive cartel they
enjoy and the way they abuse their
market position and their customers
I hate the fact that these important
institutions are unworthy of our respect
I hate that in times when restraint is
critical in the midst of the Global Financial
Crisis they refused to follow the Reserve
Bank on interest rates and actually increased
their overall margins and profits
I hate the fact they were succesful in bleating
for support from our government re the GFC
and while everyone else in australia suffered
and they slapped wage freezes on their staff
these banks were continuing to make the
'soaring' profits they are now reporting
I hate how clearly this proves just how much
these banks can get away with at our expense
I hate the fact that the Global Financial Crisis
was not a world wide problem with business,
just a world wide problem with greed driven
people who exploited, deceived, over extended,
and sold others short, and found themselves
exposed and unable to cover their own losses.
I hate the fact that CEO's earning $10m pa
are so arrogant naive and out of touch that
they can get way with saying their customers
will stay with them for superior customer
service, and the press dont make them pay
I hate that fact there is no accountability
at Director level for their incompetence
and that CEO's are not altruists but the
bone collectors relying on volume rather
than corporate talent, adept at scouring
the last cent from every source
I hate that Directors of Commonwealth
can lose half a billion or more in poor
decisions such as Storm Financial
and ABC learning centres and claw the
profit back from their customers
I hate a financial sector that are simply
parasites stripping money and capital
from the initiative, hard work and sweat
of australian business
I hate the fact that a bank that they exploit
credit card customers with close to 20%
interest charges while offering 2% for 12
months to woo customers to transfer their
credit card debts from other banks
I hate the fact that the Government is so naive
to prop them through hard times while their
senior staff draw million dollar bonuses
I hate the fact that the ACCC allow them to buy
any remotely potential competitior that moves
and so maintain their cosy quasi cartel
I hate the way they can lay off staff and
close branches and then open the same
branches in the name of service
I hate they charge for using ATM machines
while saving hundreds of millions on tellers
I hate the fact the CBA dumped all their
unprofitable school kid accounts and now,
seeing them as a gateway to new
business, expect they can simply walk
back in and exploit the schools knowing
that the sheer difficulty of changing accounts
will render most 'lifelong sources of income'
err customers...
I hate the way the banks abuse the privilege
of their position luring customers with low
competitive interest rates then jacking them
up to a non competitive rate at a later time
I hate the fact that customers cant have one
simple portable facility that incorporates their
own account numbers, loans, credit cards and
direct debits, and port this to another bank if they
are dissatisfied
.... I could go on for ever I guess, but I hate the fact
these banks and their directors put profit ahead of
their social responsibilities and exploit the very
customers whose money built and continues to
underpin the businesses they strut and crow over.

This is a 1958 "Field & Stream" Travel Trailer ( canned ham ). This vintage style of camping trailers were referred to as "car trailers" back when they were being built because of their size, light weight and ease of towing. The cabin part of the trailer is 12' long, the tongue is 2' making the total length only 14'. It pulls beautifully going down the highway, no fish tailing at all. You can forget your pulling a trailer.
This trailer is 95% original, no modifications. This trailer has not been restored and I have only made a couple of small repairs. If you are looking for a great platform for making a complete restoration then this would be an absolutely great trailer for such a project.
The interior is all wood, top to bottom and front to back and it is all original wood. I have installed a self-contained 12 volt electrical system and it doesn't need 120 volt. Everything runs off of 12 volts. However all of the original 120 volt wiring is still in place and hasn't been touched, even the original 120v light fixtures are still in place. All of the cabinet hardware is still in place, working and original. All the hinges, handles, and everything is original. The original "icebox" and oven/stove are still in the camper and work great. It also has the original factory installed "Kenmore" cabin heater and it also works great.
When I got the trailer someone had changed the paint scheme so I re-painted it to the original design. The rear couch makes into a double bed. Above the rear couch it has a removable bunk bed/hammock that is original factory equipment also. The dinette also makes into a double bed. There is a lot of storage in the camper. It also has a 10 gallon fresh water tank with a manual hand pump.
The trailer also comes with 2 30 lb propane tanks, a new spare tire and wheel.
The following items are new in the past three months:

New 240 watt solar panel
New "Sunforce" 12v, 30 amp charge controller
4 new "Everstart" 750 cold crank amp deep cell marine batteries
New "Cen-Tech" 1500 watt continuous , 3000 surge 120v power inverter (for microwave, etc.)

New manual water pump for sink

This is one great little camper. I bought it for hunting plus the nostalgia. It was used this past hunting season and worked great. However with four adult men it was a little cramped. So I plan to up size for next year. I pulled it off road in BLM land in Teller County and down in the Phantom Canyon area and had no problems at all.

Now the best part last: YES, I DO HAVE A CLEAN CLEAR TITLE IN HAND, AND CURRENT REGISTRATION ALSO. So unlike most trailers you see of this vintage you will not have a problem with registration and it will be registered as a "Field and Stream" not a home-made trailer as is usually the case with trailers bought without a title.

I recently came across a bunch of payment vouchers issued by various Italian banks in the 1970s. They only cost about EUR 2 each and a quick PayPal transaction soon made a Canadian collector and the Greek seller both very happy.
To be frank initially I had no clue what I bought. At first I thought they are called girate, as the word appears on the back of the payment vouchers, but my Dutch friend Michiel found out that "girate" means "endorsement" in Italian.
Subsequently Michiel found out that they're actually called "mini-assegni" or mini cashier's cheques. It turns out that in the 1970s, Italy had a massive shortage of small-denominaton lira coins. as the governement was not able to address the shortage, the Italian banking industry created their own small-denomination banknotes to circulate.
Needless to say, only the central bank Banca d'Italia was allowed to issue the Italian lira banknotes. In order to make the payment vouchers not "banknotes" and not illegal, the commercial banks made the vouchers look like cheques, by making the payments payable to a someone, which is why all the mini-assegni were made payable to some sort of Chamber of Commerce and Tourism. As some kind of cashier cheques, the Italian government and the Banca d'Italia could not press charges to the banks. In reality, perhaps the government was indifferent to thier existence anyway. The mini-assegni came in denominations of 50, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300 and 350 Italian liras (lire).
In any case, while a real cheque is usually one-direction and for a single use (i.e. payment from the payer to the payee, and only used once), the mini-assegni were circulated back and forth between holders in society just like regular paper money. A total off 33 Italian banks issued them, each with its own designs. A total of 835 designs existed according to some expert. By 1978 finally the governement produced enough new small-denomination coinage that the need for the mini-assegni disappeared.
