YN-560 in shoot through umbrella triggered with RF-602s.
The YN's seem to be sturdy. This one took a fall onto the rocks and it's fine. :)

Bad news Flickronians. Photography as an art-form might just be dead! More about that over here bit.ly/13hCRZ5 Meanwhile, the fact that this weekend's image features a train station is somewhat of a coincidence (I wrote the post before the terrible events in both Paris and most recently Spain) and as a so-recent traveller on the train system of Europe my thoughts are with the families of those who died and those who were injured. Have a safe and peaceful weekend everybody.

Oh man, for a good time, I recommend taking a 3 year-old to the holiday train show in Grand Central. Okay, adults too. The details are fantastic (such as the tiny house with its own train going around a track in the front window).
Today i took my kids to see Santa at Drumawhey a half mile outside Millisle.
This is one of the pictures of the Vintage minature steam trains that we got on.I dont know who loved it more, me or the kids after a ten min ride we got of to see santa who was waiting for all the kids.Have to say it was diffirent but well worth £15 for two adults two kids train ride santa and as many photos as you can take:)...Its open weekends only 1-5pm better than the normal santas groto by far..
This is an abandoned platform -- commuter rail trains have not stopped here for 6 or 7 years.
Someone working at the adjacent industrial plant saw me on this platform and called me over to ask if I was waiting for the train to Boston. He said "a lot of people forget" that the station moved down the street. I said I was just taking pictures and I know this platform isn't in use. He still seemed uneasy and told me to "be careful of predators." I said something dismissive about it being daytime, but he didn't want to let it drop -- "Yeah but, all the same ... you never know, around here."
