A commuter train crashed into the living room of a residential house at 80 km/h.

This was the end station and it rammed the train stopper.

Luckily it was at night and no people was in the room.

170208 "The Brecks" seen at Ely on a diverted Cambridge-Ipswich service, due to trespassing apparently. An interesting sight, as this is one of an extremely rare occasion where one could catch a train from Ely to Kennett/Thurston/Elmswell/Needham Market, without having to change trains- not much use for Newmarket bound passengers though!

Most of the Metro trains I rode on this trip were packed. There were several events going on in DC today including a rally that supposedly drew 30,000 people. I got this moment of emptiness at the New Carrollton, MD station, which is at the far reaches of the Metro's jurisdiction and probably not a terribly popular station.

These trains are carpeted (carpeted!) and have cushioned seats.

Die 012 entstand aus der BR 01,die zwischen 1939 und 1949 gebaut wurde,und wurde auf Ölfeuerung umgebaut.33 Loks kamen noch zum Einsatz.

Hauptsächlich waren diese Dreizylinderloks im Einsatz auf der Emslandstrecke Rheine-Norddeich und zwar im Güterverkehr sowie auch im Personenverkehr.
