Meanwhile in Lenfald...
After the completion of Elvyrston Castle, Sir Edwyn returned to his primary profession as a merchant. The Garhimis had agreed to establish a system of mutually beneficial trade with Lenfald in order to aid the war effort. Lenfald would deliver prime weapons quality wood in exchange for pure Garhimi Iron. High Lord Triphian had decreed that all such envoys would enjoy the benefit of an armed guard, in case of sabotage by the loreesi. And so once again Sir Edwyn journeyed northwards, surrounded by elite warriors of the Knights of Ilion
To clarify this is not desert, it is an arid grassland such as found in the high mountain regions of Eastern Lenfald.
A great nightshot of the World Trade Center Twin Towers, just a month before they fell. I will always remember their beauty and magnificence. This photo was taken from the pier at Exchange Place in Jersey City, New Jersey.
This is a hand-held shot at 1/3 sec and F1.8. Amazing that there is no VR technology!

The Easter holidays are here and I'm no longer at Uni. Although I'm missing the Sheffield atmosphere and my boyfriend (sad face everyone), coming home has at least given me a chance to rummage through all my clothes that I hadn't taken to Uni due to lack of space.
Top: Re-found in the back of my wardrobe. Have no idea where it's from as there seems to be no label.
Skirt: Thrifted.
Tights: Primark.
Shoes: Also re-found. I must have not taken them to Uni because they have a tendency to slip off at the heels when I walk speedily.
Scarf: Gift from a friend.
My trade girl is here! This girl and her mom have been so patient with me, but I gotta share, she was a stubborn one! lol First she had a matte faceplate which I had never worked on, that took some time to sand! then her old scalp wasn't cooperative so we got her a new one and we waited for that and eye chips AND for a licca body for weeks. Her sweet face has been waiting to come to life for so long and finally, she came together today! She's sweet and quiet but can be determined when she wants to! We are trying to decide on a name for her. I hope you like her! more pictures to come before she travels back home to Chicago!

Looking up at the WTC Twin Towers.
The WTC Twin Towers were completed in April 1973. They were destroyed in the terrorist attack of September 11th, 2001. When the buildings were completed, the Twin Towers were over 414 metres (1360 feet) tall; they were then the tallest buildings in the world. This image was captured in 1985.

Just wanted to share some higher rez pics from the contest. Other than cropping, many of these pics haven’t been touched, so sorry about the lighting/quality.
For trade, but ONLY for old lego Batman or certain DC superheros minifigures.
I also want to make clear that the person who I trade with will send first, or we send at the same time. I will not send first.

I used to work at Waters Design in the Century 21 building across from the towers. One day, I just walked right up to one of the towers, looked up, and saw this view. I'm kind of surprised I've never before seen this composition of the towers as I found it very striking. The taken on date had to have been sometime between 1998-2000 as that was the time that our company had moved into that building, and I had left the company by 2000.
Informal markets have sprung up all over Dhaka city. Nearby houses prefer to shop here rather than going to the bigger markets.
Drawing I did for Stewart as part of a trade ( he made me this sick bone necklace) and i've been delaying it because i don't normally draw dicks in my artwork... so i didn't know how to approach it without being overtly offensive.. because that wasn't my intent at all...and i think i was successful i guess.
The Trade Facilitation Programme (TFP) currently includes over 100 Issuing Banks in the EBRD region and more than 800 Confirming Banks worldwide. The event gave EBRD partner banks the opportunity to review and discuss industry challenges, pricing, limits and trade opportunities with key industry specialists, regulators and representatives from the World Trade Organization, the International Chamber of Commerce HQ and local National ICC Committees.
It also featured the highly popular award ceremony for ‘The Most Active EBRD TFP Banks’ and ‘The Best Transaction of 2016’.
The Henrietta Marie carried a large quantity of bilboes, iron shackles, in a variety of sizes for men, women and children.
"Parts making up more than 80 bilboes have been found at the wreck site. As bilboes were typically used to shackle pairs of slaves together, the ones found at the wreck site could have restrained more than 160 slaves. "
"The Mel Fisher Maritime Museum has also launched the Florida Slave Trade Center. A database and online exhibition featuring all of the artifacts from this ship wreck and a descriptive online exhibition and including other artifacts and documents from the museum's slave trade collection."

Summerville, Georgia 2014
Every Tuesday and Saturday they have a big, open air, trade day in Summerville, Georgia. I was driving past this place and caught this scene out of the corner of my eye. I couldn't let it go and even though I was in a hurry, I finally had to turn the car around and go back to snap a photo from the car window. I've never seen anyone selling cemetery flowers like this and it seemed like a slice of life that I needed to capture. The flowers were bright purple, yellow, and white and really eye catching but I like the shot in black and white. It's one of those social documentary shots that I'm not sure will be of interest to anyone else but I'll post it here and see.
