"Take a leap of faith and begin this wondrous new year by believing. Believe in yourself. And believe that there is a loving Source - a Sower of Dreams - just waiting to be asked to help you make your dreams come true." Sarah Ban Breathnach
This photo was taken on one of my last trips. Well accompanied by a fellow friend and photographer had the pleasure of visiting some spots I had in my "short list". One of those places was the Chapel of Senhor da Pedra in Miramar ... it was worth it, is indeed a magical place at all levels.
This shot for me represents the Trade-Off between the human and the divine...this place is fantastic!
Wishing you all a fantastic 2017!
Hope you all like it as mutch as i loved to shoot it :)

The World Trade Center Transportation hub is not any train station. It is an architectural wonder, created by architect Santiago Calatrava.
In this photo of the Oculus, you can see its white lines reaching up to the sky and enclosing the World Trade Center in NYC. Obviously, the World Trade Center is much taller, but the angle and 14 mm lens create an optical illusion. The diagonal lines frame the larger building.
I chose a black and white low-key processing allows the light to stand out on Oculus while the rest of the buildings fall into the background. In the foreground, you can barely see silhouettes of people looking at the buildings, including my daughter and wife.
And you can see a second popular image of the Oculus showing the light from inside its shadows on my Facebook page.
Flit stops off at the Trade Post to pick up some well needed supplies She grabs a respirator to keep the harsh sands out of her circuits, some body armor and shades.
She is thankful for the small knife she aquires and hacks off a good portion of hair, it will only get in the way where she has to go. She circles back taking the long way to shake off the feeling of being followed and ducks into her bunker to check in on Dylain.

In 1819, Sir Thomas Raffles negotiated a treaty whereby Johor allowed the British to locate a trading port on the island. The Sultan of Johor is the sovereign ruler of the Malaysian state of Johor. It all was leading to the establishment of the British colony of Singapore in 1819. The port was strategically located along the main trade route between India and China. Singapore became an independent republic in 1965. Nowadays the country has become one of the world's most prosperous nations, with a highly developed free market economy and strong international trading links. Tourism in Singapore is a major industry and is the 5th most visited city in the world. Along with this, it also has one of the world's lowest crime rates. Public transport is easy when visiting Singapore. This includes the well-known Mass Rapid Transit system. MRT trains are fully automated without driver! Singapore is a green and clean city. It is also full of natural attractions and cultural heritage sites, from botanic gardens and nature parks to temples and museums. Chinatown is a small piece of China in the heart of Singapore. Once an enclave for Singapore’s Chinese immigrant population, the Chinatown of today is much-beloved for its blend of old and new, with historic temples and traditional medicinal halls sitting alongside hip new bars and lifestyle shops. You also can't miss the three monstrous towers of Marina Bay Sands which stand at the Marina Bay waterfront. Apart from the casino, the Marina Bay Sands also has a shopping mall, resorts, museums, theatres, an ice skating rink, and a Skydeck with an infinity pool.
Getting around Singapore by MRT (train) is simple. Singapore's public transport system is fast and efficient, and brings you to memorable attractions in no time. The Marina Bay Sands is a most icon hotel with and a wide range of shopping, casino and entertainment options. The resort includes a 2,561-room hotel. The three towers are connected by a 1 hectare roof terrace, Sands SkyPark. The observation deck provides panoramic views across the bay and world's largest rooftop Infinity Pool.

We were invited by the son of the local royal family to visit the ruins of his ancestor's palace. But after a day full of nodding and 'ohhh's & ahhh's' i needed a cigarette break. While wandering off in the neighbouring jungle, i crossed paths with an old geezer. Although we were unable to communicate with words, we shared our treasures. I had cigarettes, he had nuts and some sort of citrus fruit. After a while of keeping each other company in silence, we both returned to our separate worlds.

I am so excited to release this. I collect trading cards IRL (Pokemon ) and in the trading card world it's full of "waifu" cards, and so rarely are there any "husbando" sets so I decided to make one in Second Life with a variety of amazing guys who let me use their artwork. This is just Volume I - there will be more volumes, and expansions (yes, waifus too!) so I hope you all enjoy this!
The cards are wearable with a bento pose, and they also can be added to the display case that's available. It's scripted so each card snaps into its proper spot in the case. Each card also links you to the husbando's social or Flickr page. 😃

As I'm making progress on my Island town I am in need of a number of small ships to fill the harbour. They have to be small in order not to obstruct the view on the Island.
This one is actually based on one of my earlier sloops but with a color scheme and theme based on the small ship from the classic set Imperial Trading Post.
More pictures can be seen on the Ideas project page.
(Although the rigging is different due to Ideas rules concerning the use of custom material.)
As per suggestion of Fehron Argonaut I added a small mast and rerigged the ship with a lateen sail on the second mast.
I figured I might as well do a complete custom rigging. Looks much better now :).
Don't forget to support!

Hervey Bay
bay/ˈhɑrvi ˈbeɪ/ is a city in Queensland, Australia.
The city is situated approximately 290 kilometres (180 mi) or 3½ hours highway drive north of the state capital, Brisbane. It is a natural bay between the Queensland mainland and nearby Fraser Island. The local economy relies on tourism which is based primarily around whale watching in Platypus Bay to the North, access to Fraser Island, accessible recreational fishing and boating and the natural north facing, calm beaches with wide undeveloped foreshore zones.
At the 2011 Australian Census the city recorded a population of 76,403.[1] Hervey Bay is an area of high population growth...
Climate
Hervey Bay has a mild climate with an average 30 °C (86 °F) in summer and 22 °C (72 °F) in winter. The coast is predominantly affected by the south east trade winds throughout the summer with occasional strong northerly winds and storm swells. These winds keep the temperatures down in summer and up in winter, preventing temperature extremes. As a result, Hervey Bay rarely experiences temperatures over 35 °C (95 °F) in summer or under 5 °C (41 °F) in winter.
Cyclones are a threat at times with Cyclone Hamish threatening in 2009 as a Category 5. The land mass of Fraser Island significantly affects the pattern of weather in Hervey Bay and protects the immediate marine environment from open ocean storm effects. Cyclone Oswald in 2013 caused significant damage in the area, mainly as a result of tornadoes spawned by the system. The average rainfall for the year is around 1,100 millimetres (43 in). December to March is the main rainy period, with a secondary peak in May and June. The months of April and from July to November are generally dry and sunny.
Whale watching
Hervey Bay is the whale watching capital of Australia, with humpback whales migrating along the coast between April and October every year. Researchers at the Oceania Project conducted a 14 year study which found the bay was an important social hub for humpback whales.[15] Whale number have increased from about 2,000 in 1992, to around 7,000 in 2005.[15] Hervey Bay is the resting place for Humpback whales, Mum's and Calves, they come to the Bay to rest and build up energy for their long travels back to Antarctica. The Adults come to play, socialise and there have been heat runs observed in the Bay. The Humpback Whales are known to be very relaxed in the company of the whale watching vessels.
