May 8, 2023: Ute Trading Post neon sign in Manitou Springs, Colorado. One source on the internet says the sign is from 1934. The actual trading post has been closed for years. I used the Bluristic App on my iPhone for about a 3-second exposure. The app allows me to lock one section of the image in place and blur the rest.

Trotters Independent Traders is the name of the rather shady company run by the Trotters, mainly Del, within the series [Only Fools and Horses]. - WWII themed items that you think can catch my attention ;-)

Due to several scams and problems, I'm applying the following rules for all trades :
- WANTS/HAVES format only. Quote your haves, or better, tag me on a pic. All messages which don't stick to this format will be at best ignored, at worst deleted.
- I'm from Europe Which means you might have to ship overseas if we trade... So if it is a problem for you, don't bother commenting... You and I will save time.
- I'm not shipping first anymore. I'm waiting for your package and have yours sent in the next 24 hours after receipt. If you want delivery confirmation packages, it's not a problem for me.
- If I'm making wants lists/pics it's for a good reason, please stick to the things I ask or to the kind of items I like (which you can easily identify in my stream).
- If I want something from you, I comply with your rules. If you want something from me, you comply with mine...
- Any questions, please ask, I don't bite :-) it's just that I'm both taking and doing this more seriously than many...

Mr Fox and Mrs PB have been getting a bit old and crusty, so we've replaced them with newer models. We hope you don't mind.
The sun had come up but a light breeze had come up with it putting a ripple to the lake's surface. There used to be a regular run that came up in the wee hours, switched the mine and returned in the morning. This day the trains were more clustered, not sure why. It did make for a nice study of the changing conditions between daybreak and a little while later. Now if only I'd found this spot before the C&NW was gone. May 30, 2016.
