I'm trying out the PhotoTrackr GPS device to use with photos. Thought this might be of interest to members of this group. This device works with all cameras, not just the D700. Click map to see where this bird lives on Google Maps. This should come in handy for landscape and wildlife photographers.

We just returned from a 5 day trip to Western North Carolina (also East Tennessee and Southern Virginia)where it was darn cold. We took a few hundred photos so over the next few weeks I'll decide which ones I'll post for the Flickr world to see.

This was actually one of the last photos I took on the trip. We were surprised to find sections of the Blue Ridge Parkway open although many areas were closed due to heavy snow fall over the past few weeks.

I'm not placing this on my map since I'm not sure exactly where I was when I took it. A problem that will now be remedied with future photos with the arrival of my new GiSTEQ Photo Trackr
