This is a photo of a construction machine's tire tread tracks on the milky white concrete pad that will be the foundation for a new building in Yarmouth. I love it when practical objective activity such as this construction project unintentionally results in imagery that could have been created during some intentionally artistic process.

Stainforth - North Yorkshire

I was exploring along the tracks, a little north of Trinidad. I spotted an old cabin in ruins in an overgrown meadow. There is no road or driveway, maybe there was back in the day! This image is compressed from my 500. The cabin is about 300 ft from the tracks behind, and double that to me. I shot this at F4, I'm still getting used to this lens.

...along the bank of the Comite River, a small but dangerous river that runs through the Frenchtown Road Conservation Area in Central, Louisiana. Water equals life.

I am happy to share here my first mountain landscape photo made in.... France, my native country! Travelling a lot and living abroad for a long time has given me the possibility to look at my home country differently, and I can see and appreciate more some beautiful things and places, and, on the contrary, get upset or disappointed by other issues that I was not seeing before.

Evening at Tracks Beach, Oahu Hawaii with some surfers enjoying a small swell.

Crossing the tracks at Goathland station waiting for the next train to take us to the next stop on the lines I couldn't resist a chance to get a shot along the lines to and from the station.

I went to shoot a sunset over Brightwell Barrow but foolishly hadn't really done a recon before and the angle I planned just didn't work, thankfully a couple of tracks in the crop provided a plan B.
