Looking east, this is where a dual-set of signals once stood. These ones were presumably faced west for coming eastbounds, probably for warrants over the Fox River bridge.

Diverse tracks on the freshly-shoveled sidewalk as I drop off luggage in the car. Fresh-fallen snow is a sight, but it's too clean, too pristine. Walking through the snow gives it humanity.
It's -20 celcius today. Brrr. A day to just relax and do stuff around the house.
