S.H.I.E.L.D. having discovered HYDRA agents conducting archaeological excavations under a castle in Romania once belonging to Vlad Dracula, sent agents; Sharon Carter and Bobbi Morse (A.K.A. Mockingbird) as well as Captain America to investigate. They discover Hydra agents excavating a coffin from a sub-basement tomb. They engage Hydra to keep the sarcophagus out of enemy hands. Unfortunately the battle awakens the occupant of the coffin, The Lord Of Vampires himself, Dracula! Impulsively Captain America hurls his shield at The Count, who catches it in mid air.

In what has become a very unusual occurrence indeed, this photo features no editing; the image is completely "in-camera", as they say.
As for the title, here's the all-knowing and infallible Wikipedia:
Lost in La Mancha is a 2002 documentary film about Terry Gilliam's unfinished film The Man Who Killed Don Quixote, a film adaptation of the novel Don Quixote by Miguel de Cervantes. It was shot in 2000 during Gilliam's first attempt to make the film with the purpose of being its making-of, but Gilliam's failure in making the movie led it to be retitled Lost in la Mancha and to be released independently.
I have never seen the documentary in question, but I read about it several years ago, and I recall that the sound of a jet passing overhead was just one of the many anachronistic intrusions that ruined the film. It seemed a fitting title for this portrait, then, since jet streams mark the sky behind Tonto. Like I told a friend, it was profoundly selfish of those pilots to fly on a day I was photographing toys.

The marriage of Reed Richards and Sue Storm! My daughter set this up while playing and I had to snap a photo, it was too good.
Note the organist in the balcony. It's all in the details! Heh heh.

I have been wanting this figure for a very very long time. I missed out on him when it first came out, and the price has been jacked up to a ridiculous level ever since. I've been searching for this figure for quite a few years now. And finally I found him at a more reasonable price. I cannot be more happy! Super-poseable, individual finger articulations, comic accurate body shape, awesome paint jobs. This is really THE ONE AND ONLY ABSOLUTE BEST 6" comic-accurate Spider-man figure that will ever be. I said that because it's been >5 years now and none of the shits that Hasbro made has ever even came close, and I don't think they will ever be...

Spider-man from "Classic Clashes Spider-man vs Abomination". This is the same Spider-man from SMC 12, which is also the most sought after Spidey action figure amongst collectors. Why? Simply because of its exceptional sculpt and articulation.
Green Goblin from Toybiz Marvel Legends Onslaught series. This, I feel, it the best rendition of this character so far... Yeah, cone-headed Goblin from the movies is crap to me. The classic one has always come with a rubber mask and pumpkin bombs with a bat glider. Nothing silly about such a halloween costume, too bad Sam Raimi couldn't pull it off.

I really should have framed this one better. He isn't lying on the ground with the shield sticking out of his neck. The shield is hitting him in the neck knocking his upper half backwards. You can't see his feet because they are still firmly planted on the ground. Shield still looks nice though.
Favre: "I bet we can all guess. No confirmation yet, but you know it was Ash. He can't stay away from that cabin."
