NOTE: I always hoped that one day there'd be a figure of one of my favourite horror movie characters: Frank Zito, outstandingly performed by the late Joe Spinell. Then again, what toy company wants to get their hands dirty by sculpting this grim, deranged and yet sad and lonely serial killer from 'MANIAC' (1980)? A movie so controversially discussed and reviewed - and often incomprehensibly ignored when it comes to the list of 80s horror movies.
So I took this matter into my own hands and tried to recreate the now infamous movie poster. To me it's still one of the best horror movies ever made - with Joe Spinell's great and disturbing performance and some of the best make-up effects at that time by Tom Savini.
Chameleon: Of course we will re-open! The Bijou Planks is an Old Town building, with firm stasis*, so there is no safer place for the audience to be.
Green Goblin: What about those front row hecklers?? There's nothing safe about them! Especially that girl with the anvil!
Blob: The Swedish Anvil.
Green Goblin: I thought she was called the Grand High Heckler.
(from the stage): Wawaaawawa!
Chameleon: Who cares!? We're opening the theater! We're not stopping because of patrons in the front row. Ridiculous!
Green Goblin: Well, then, what about their travel to the theater??
Chameleon: Since when are you concerned for people's welfare, Goblin??
(from the stage): What's that?? Live audiences back in the house at the BeeJuicy Plankity Planks? Say its so, Daddy-O!**
Green Goblin: I'm concerned for their money they use to buy tickets! If we get our regular customers killed in the war outside, we will have a most difficult time securing their continued patronage!
(from the stage:) Waawawa Heehee!!
Blob: buurrrrrpp!!
Green Goblin: And we still have to do something about the refreshment bar!
Chameleon: What's wrong with the concessions??
(from the stage): Groovy!! I'm diggin it with a golden shovel Snoopsmeister!
Green Goblin: You put this disgusting pig in charge of it! He's eating up all our profits!
Blob: Hey....!
Chameleon: Bah! Details that can be worked out!
Green Goblin: But we-

Alice: With the rift opened it's just been a tempest here with all the preparation. We certainly appreciate the way the Justice League is patrolling and containing the impact so far.

Alice: It is a warp, Batman. While your team has been handling the trouble on this side, we've been preparing for the enemy on the other side.
Batman: We're currently working towards finding out who opened it.
Alice: Oh, that was Ash. It had to be.
Batman: His name seems to be coming up a lot.
Alice: Ash... well, Ash is a story unto himself and I'll explain all of that as well.
Batman: You know a lot. We need to compare. Who was the bald woman?
Alice: I only know what we saw. We don't know her name. But she went with Ash and another woman to the cabin.
Batman: The other woman's name is Machiko. The bald woman's name is Asajj. We have Machiko currently with some friends of mine looking for the Necronomicon.
Alice: We just call it 'the book' here.

My first 100% original creation (ie. no ripping-off background images from the net). Seen here is ML6 Deadpool, Walmart 2 packs Cannonball and Domino, as well as ML6 Cable. The setting is on Singapore's Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) along the Northeast Line (NEL). Took me 6 months to acquire Deadpool, which is the last of the old Toybiz MLs that I have been hunting for. Focusing on DCSH / DCUC now...
Two of my favorite Marvel characters are about to clash. This actually happened in the Namor comic in the early '90s, but I won't ruin it for anyone who might like to read it.
As you can see, I opted for the old Toybiz version of Iron Fist. I generally aim for the look of the characters from back when I collected it. A superior Hasbro sculpt is no good to me if the costume isn't from the right time frame.

I bought another ML Jean Grey to customize a little differently than the first. I wanted a Jean with different heads so I used the new figure and parts from my old Jean Grey to create one figure with four different heads!
Jean as she appeared in the 90's X-Men Animated Series! The ponytail is back!
The head is my first custom Jean head with sculpted hair on top and a slightly re-sculpted ponytail from a DC Direct Dove figure.

At the impossibly swanky bachelor pad of the Chameleon, he has scored an evening at home with Shanna the She-Devil. At 6:48 PM Shanna had asked, "How are things going at the Planks?"
At 11:44 PM we pick up the conversation.
Chameleon: -never thought hecklers could cause such a commotion.
Shanna: Mm.
Chameleon: But, the fascinating thing is, none of this has harmed profits! HA! Isn't that something??
Shanna: Yes.
Shanna: (thinking) What am I doing here??? I'm supposed to be seducing information from him about illegal products he's suspected of trafficking, but he just goes on and on about the theater...
Chameleon: Recently, we've actually been purposely putting out the worst shows, and they keep coming back! HA!! A few days ago we didn't even have a show! We just played music and said it was invisible people on the stage!* HAHAAAHAHA!!!
Shanna: Do you ever use the Bijou Planks as a front to sell illegal merchandise?
Chameleon: Pardon?
Shanna: (thinking) Maybe I can blow my cover and he can kill me. Oh, the sweet silence of death.
