These ladybugs infest our house every year. I'm amazed I was able to take a shot of one with no other ones around
Seriously this is one of my favorite shows on TV and I am not even into cars. The hosts (all 3) are hilarious and their criteria for rating cars of all kinds (sedans to sports, cheap to pricey) really crack me up.

A southbound Sound Transit Link light rail train approaches Tukwila (International Blvd) station, near Sea-Tac Airport. This is the tallest section of elevated structure on the line, as well as the highest in elevation. The foothills of the Cascade Mountains are in the background.

Pour une tournée de seulement quelques dates en France après un passage durant l’été 2012 à l’Olympia les ZZ Top étaient à l’affiche du zénith de Dijon ce 20 juin 2013.
Dans la foule, des jeunes et des moins jeunes ont répondu présents pour vibrer au son de la musique de ce trio de blues-rock 100% Texan.
Composé de Billy Gibbons (guitare), Dusty Hill (basse) et de Frank Beard (batterie), le groupe conserve ce son internationalement reconnaissable aux influences très très américaines.
Petite scène avec écrans, gros lightshow, les chanteurs étaient en super forme et le public totalement conquis.
Petit bémol, seulement 1h20 de spectacle, ça fait un peu court ... pour ceux qui aiment ce groupe qui se produit bien trop rarement en France.

The third summit of Yellow Mountain - Tiandu (Capital heaven) Peak (1804 meters) is the "MUST SEE" if you spend any time in the park. It is a fascinating height of 1,810 meter. The climb, dangerous in the old days, is a "walk-over", with stone steps placed or hewn along the trail and iron chains to cling to. Now 43,000 steps link all the peaks and a winding path 3,800 meters long has been paved for the convenience of tourists. The peak is over 5900, is one of the steepest and most breathtaking peaks of Mount Huang. At the top of the peak is a stone carving of 4 Chinese characters "Deng Feng Zao Ji" (the highest peak), as the peak surpasses the others in the surrounding area. A traveler in old times that failed to reach the top sighed as he composed this poem:
"How I wish I could ride a crane some day to view the sea of clouds over Tiandu Peak."
The top of the peak is flat with a natural cave large enough to hold more than one hundred people. The saying goes: without reaching Jade Screen Pavilion, a panoramic view of the mountain is impossible; without climbing Tiandu Peak, your trip is not finish.

Library of Congress ukiyo-e print of act 11 of the play Chūshingura in which we see two men from the 47 ronin about to fight in a house where a woman is going around, knocking down the partitions between walls. I'm sure there's a correlation but it escapes me at the moment. I don't know about this play but it seems over the top (which is a good thing).

Lowari Pass (or Lowari Top) (el. 10,230 ft.) is a high mountain pass that connects Chitral with Dir in the North West Frontier Province, Pakistan. Lowari Top is a relatively low pass, by far the lowest pass to enter Chitral, the rest all being 12,000 to 15,000 feet.
Lowari Top is closed by snow from late November to late May every year. During this time, jeeps cannot cross so men must travel by foot. This is dangerous, as there are high mountains on each side of Lowari Top, and a deadly avalanche can come at any moment without warning.
Every winter a few persons are killed by avalanches while crossing Lowari Top. Their bodies are buried under the snow and it is only when the summer comes and the snow melts that their bodies are found and their fate learned.
Nevertheless, Lowari Top remains popular because it is the shortest route from Chitral to Peshawar. The other way would be down the Kunar River to Jalalabad through hostile Afghan Territory or the much longer route across Shandur Top to Gilgit.
Lowari Top crosses the Hindu Raj Mountains, a spur of the higher Hindu Kush. On the Chitral side of Lowari Top are the people of Ashret, who speak the Phalura language and were assigned by the Mehtar of Chitral to be the guardians of Lowari Top.
On the Dir side reside Gujjars, some of whom make their living as porters carrying loads across Lowari Top.
In 1954, the Mehtar of Chitral was killed when his airplane crashed into Lowari Top. Even today, PIA pilots often turn back because of winds and fear of crossing Lowari Top.
The word "Top" is believed not to be the English word "top" but a word from an ancient language no longer spoken there.
The Lowari Top is one of the four major mountain passes to enter Chitral. The others are the Dorah Pass from Badakshan in Afghanistan, Shandur Top from Gilgit, and Broghol from the Wakhan Corridor in Afghanistan.
The Lowari Tunnel is currently being constructed beneath Lowari Pass by a Korean company. Completion is expected in October 2008.
