Scaled down tool totes in action from the Handyman Club www.handymanclub.com/projects/articletype/articleview/art.... This is a 12" long box instead of an 18" box, because my wife wanted something smaller and we are going to give the full sized one to my in-laws.

To keep nails and tools dry. Works great except when I need to find something, or cross the border, or pack anything else off, like garbage to the dump. I believe a better solution if I had admitted to myself that I'd be wrking in steady rain would have to bought one of those costco canvas/steel garage like structures for $160 and set it up as a work shed next to the site.

This is a section of what I've got in my three tool boxes. I normally have these split between my two cars and my house.

I’ve got a Husky toolbox for my wrenches and other tools but it seemed a crime to put wood tools in it. So I decided to build my dream toolbox. To keep with the wood theme, every component is wooden, the box, hinges, latches, and handle. The wood is honduran mahogany and the finish is lacquer.

This is not my design. I'm not sure who's it is, but my customer came to me with a picture and asked me to replicate it.

Graph paper mock up of a toolbox for my bus. I'll be welded out of 16 gauge steel and it's designed to fit it in the auxiliary battery tray (rear engine compartment on the drivers side).

This chap was playing a selection of tools as musical instruments, mostly the saw - very Delicatessen style! - but he tried several different implements from his toolbox! Great fun. And splendid sideburns too!

inside, its hard to see, sorry.

Evidence, as there is no way Dad's toolbox will remain like this!

Less used stuff, or things that wouldnt' fit above. Generally, the tools that give a bit more leverage, buried down a level so I don't resort to them too quickly.

I found this Hinsdale tool box in a bucket full of rust and water. It was quite rusted and had a bunch of small ignition wrenches in it. It has Hinsdale Tools of Quality embossed on it, and "11M"- probably the tool kit number.

I got this fairly locally--was REALLY happy to get it (super hard to find). I don't have a Constellation section yet).

One of my first HDR compositions. Made from 8 shots using Photomatix Pro.

The drawers have stops. They will only slide so far down the inside. The front vertical piece is for my Japanese saws.
