Benny has a toothache.

Mummy Marian gave him an aspirin and his best friend Jago gave him hot tea and "melt-in-the-mouth" shortbread biscuits.

Peter also wants to help.

PETER:

Oleg.....I'll pick up something for Benny, but I'll be right back.

OLEG:

Is good

Peter searches in the toolbox ......

PETER:

Which pliers would be best?

This one...or this one...?

This one seems suitable to me .... it is big enough to pull out Benny's rotten tooth.

Ough... Those pliers are stuck. There's no movement.

There must be a way to get out of here.

Can someone tell me how to get out of here?

Assembling everything to make a Japanese temari ball, I guess that this is in fact the basic 'toolkit' that you need.

Big or small you need a 'core' ball around which you work. A needle and many, many pins - then the yubinuki (finger rings that act like a thimble) and very small and precise scissors. And then a paper strip guide (to fit the ball for size) and only then can you choose the colour threads you want to use to weave the pattern.

For the Crazy Tuesday challenge: "Tools"

Crazy Tuesday: Here

Still Life 2: Here

Just a shot of one of the drawers in my grandfather's toolbox.

This is the lock on a wooden tool box. It's one of the first toolboxes I acquired when I started working as a machinist. An old fellow that was retiring offered to sell it to me at a price I could afford. It was old and shop-worn then as it is even more so now after 40 years in my care. It didn't come with a key so I've never locked it. The image is about 70mm top to bottom. HMM and thank you all for any views, faves and comments.

Better known as my kitchen drawer.

Hex key set lined up on the tool box.

I had a few ideas lined up for this challenge quite a while ago but that was when I was at home. Right now I'm dog sitting for friends and staying in their house. So I've been rifling through every room looking for something metal to photograph. Naturally I ended up nosing around the work bench looking at the tools. (Just like many others…) This is were I ended up. HMM.

Late winter is a good time for pruning branches before the sap begins to run. Don’t be like Mako, who’s not the sharpest saw in the toolbox.

Created for the Smile on Saturday theme, BRANCHES AND TWIGS.

I’ve got a Husky toolbox for my wrenches and other tools but it seemed a crime to put wood tools in it. So I decided to build my dream toolbox. To keep with the wood theme, every component is wooden, the box, hinges, latches, and handle. The wood is honduran mahogany and the finish is lacquer.

Another gem for sale in an amazing shop in Wexford town centre (the one that was selling the old chair, toolbox, talking fish & soap "like Granny had"). First time I've ventured inside, it was an experience that's all I can say! I have more pics to upload so I must find out the name of the place, begins with a H.

Open end Barcalo wrench from the mid 1940s to 1950s. It was sold in a 5 piece set in a green canvas roll, believed to be supplied for military vehicles. This one is from my grandfather's boat toolbox.

Inside the small tools toolbox. Taken for 'Saturday Self Challenge': "Box of tricks"

About as tidy looking as I could get it :-)

Taken on my bed, I am rich, I have a studio in my bedroom... :)

Please view large if you would, it looks pretty bad in the smaller version... :)

The passenger floorboard of my vehicle cast a nice deep shadow around this toolbox. I thought it gave this a great monochrome character.

My collection of fountain pens that I currently have inked and ready to go.

« La littérature de cette fin de siècle commence à ressembler furieusement aux armées de campagne modernes, dévorées de plus en plus par leur encombrant appareil logistique. Tel l’éclaire de loin, tel la renseigne, tel lui dresse des plans, tel classe ses archives, tel inventorie son matériel, tel prévoit déjà sa reconversion future, tel met au point pour elle de nouvelles méthodes et conçoit dans ses laboratoires les armes suprêmes du futur. » (J.G.)

Discarded and decaying Sears Craftsman toolbox.

Got this cool old toolbox that's completely rusted all over from one of our employees brother who's moving. She was going to paint it and I told no way! I love all the rust and dings. It tells you the thing has a history.
