I finally managed to get hold of a beautiful old engineers toolbox. The outer surface in need of much repair= Project. Woot.

One of the very few remaining things from when I was younger. I bought
this in around 1989 when I left home to make me feel like a man. I
recently acquired it again and have restored it to its former glory
complete with name in black permanent marker. What a sentimental old
softie eh!

It’s great to have a plasma cutter. It’s even GREATER to have Chip Foose sketch all over the side of it.

I saw a beautiful design for a wooden Japanese carpentry tools box, and I wanted to make one. But I never make anything without making a prototype these days, to determine if I want to make the real thing. And this model has satisfied the urge, at least for the moment, to build something more full-sized and complicated.
In this shot, you can see the variety of carriages that comprise the Rattler. Each unique and wonderful.
