Hey, as there are plenty of toolboxes to choose from at work, this one was the coolest!
A Toolbox of cupcakes I made for my Grandpa who is a great woodworker. It includes an assortment of tools that include: Screwdrivers (both flat and philips), Hamers, Saws, Pliers, Tape Measures, and a Drill.
I finished the first part of the end carving. Normally I plan projects carefully, but this is just for fun. I'm not sure what I'm doing next.

I discovered this design independently, but given that it is not very complicated, I am sure someone has done this already.
If anyone has seen this model before, do tell me and I will refer to that as well.
I will make this with duo paper too and post the results.
Not much to do today so mucking about wiv this old image and texture, rusty iron plate.
Old tool box found in the shed, bunged my grandfather-in-law's gamekeeper's knife in, he was Squire Arkwright's gamekeeper at Mark Hall, Harlow.

Applied rusty iron plate texture in PS to the knife only and in colour. Blending mode - overlay.
A rare excursion into selective colour for me, I think it's starting to turn into a visual cliche.
My friend Beth was astounded that I have a "tackle box" for my decorating supplies. The top piece comes off and underneath are my pastry bags and larger tips. Pay no mind to my meds in the background there, eh?

The door handle that came with the side cabinet was lame. The dealer that sold me the cabinet gave me the wrench for free when I was tossing around an idea to use a hand tool for a handle. I tig welded two bolts to the wrench, used air brake plastic tubing and a bit polished aluminum to trim it out. Way better.
I didn't have alot of time to spend on Dad cookies, because I was spending more time on the delicious chocolate cake (recipe from sweetapolita). Dads don't care too much about cookie details, because the taste is what matters most!
