Tomorrow marks the official end of winter here in Australia. Over the last few months colourful sunrises and sunsets have been rare. Hopefully, this mornings sunrise is the start of something special. The Hunter River, Morpeth New South Wales. Australia.

I've Ordered Some Rain For Tomorrow
The Sky Will Be Sunny But Wet
And Out Of Nowhere You're Suddenly There
And I Say Yeah, Pardon Me Haven't We Met
I've Ordered Some Sunshine With Showers
And I've Got My Scenery Set
Right There With The Thought Our Umbrellas Gonna Bump
And I Say Yeah, Yeah, Pardon Me Haven't We Met
Accidents Can Happen
And Into One I'm Gonna Slide
There's A Good Chance To Give My Hands On A Little Romance
When Two Hearts Collide
And I Know That's Just How It Happened
When Romeo Met Juliet
Somewhere I've Read That Old Romeo Said
Pardon Me Haven't We Met

Tomorrow we are on the way to Utah, where many more glyphs will be visited. We found this bear a few years ago near Moab. It is fairly well known and a very interesting one. It is large and surrounded by other animals and figures that are much smaller and recently some letters were added (to the right), luckily not destorying this ancient depiction. Also, some bullet holes are visible.
See you in a couple of weeks.
inspired by Arctic Monkeys - Do I Wanna Know?
...
Have you got color in your cheeks'
Do you ever get the feeling that you can't shift the tide
That sticks around like something's in your teeth
And some aces up your sleeve
I had no idea that you're in deep
I dreamt about you near me every night this week
How many secrets can you keep'
'Cause there's this tune I found that makes me think of you somehow
When I play it on repeat
Until I fall asleep
Spilling drinks on my settee
If this feeling flows both ways
Was sorta hoping that you'd stay
the nights were mainly made for saying
things that you can't say tomorrow day
Maybe I'm too busy being yours to fall for somebody new
Now I've thought it through
Crawling back to you
So have you got the guts?
Been wondering if your heart's still open and
if so I wanna know what time it shuts
Simmer down and pucker up
I'm sorry to interrupt it's just I'm constantly
on the cusp of trying to kiss you
I don't know if you feel the same as I do
But we could be together, if you wanted to
If this feeling flows both ways
have you got the goods..
Miss Roxy having a chill Saturday afternoon watching a light rain falling while sitting out on the porch. Today is a good day to practice using my wireless connection between my camera and my iPhone. Tomorrow we will be going to see how the construction is going at the new house. We hit a snag on the original house. Seems there was an adverse encroachment on our property by a fence from the farmers land behind us. The builder said he was not going to resolve the situation. After some back and forth and our attorney’s involvement, they cancelled our contract with a full refund of all monies invested. It took a couple of weeks but we found what we think is an even better location, a larger lot that is better and a floor plan with a lot more features we like. The delay is a hassle but it will be worth it. If the weather and supply chain hold up we hope to close and move in in about another 8 to 10 weeks. Hope to get some decent photos to post tomorrow. We have also found a great Aussie breeder here in Georgia and look forward to the possibility of a little brother (or sister maybe) for Roxy after we get in the new place.

320/366
//
I call this one, "My 320/366 That's Really My 321/366."
I took a photo yesterday for my 366 and as usual decided to wait until today to upload them to my computer and Flickr because it was too late to edit pictures. I had school and needed to go to sleep, and I like to put my pictures on my computer and edit them all in one go. However, I usually have an annoying voice in my head to remind myself several times NOT to clear my card before going to take pictures. As a result, I had cleared my card with no thought about it and I didn't realize I hadn't saved them onto my laptop until I went to edit my pictures from today.
I like to shoot in raw only because that's just what I use, and jpeg takes up too much space. The picture I took yesterday was nothing special so I don't feel like it's worth it to go pay for a recovery software that can recover those kinds of photos.
Anyway, I took several photos yesterday, and they're gone. I'm not too upset by it, just a little disappointed that I will have a missing day. I'll probably end up pushing my project an extra day just so I can actually complete this.
Tomorrow morning I will go here again... ok not in the sky, not on the cistern... ;-) but less then a kilometer from this building there is a school where I will have a class until the end of June... ;-)

The Museum of Tomorrow (Portuguese: Museu do Amanhã) is a science museum in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It was designed by Spanish neofuturistic architect Santiago Calatrava, and built next to the waterfront at Pier Maua. Its construction was supported by the Roberto Marinho Foundation and cost approximately 230 million reais. The building was opened on December 17, 2015 with President Dilma Rousseff in attendance.[1]
The main exhibition takes visitors through five main areas: Cosmos, Earth, Anthropocene, Tomorrow and Now via a number of experiments and experiences. The museum mixes science with an innovative design to focus on sustainable cities.[1]
Funded by the Rio city government with support from sponsors, the building attempts to set new standards of sustainability in the municipality. Compared with conventional buildings, designers say it uses 40% less energy (including the 9% of its power it derives from the sun), and the cooling system taps deep water from nearby Guanabara Bay. The structure looks set to be one of Rio’s most famous tourist sights. Its solar spines and fan-like skylight have been designed so that the building can adapt to changing environmental conditions.[1]
The museum has partnerships with Brazil’s leading universities, global science institutions and collects real-time data on climate and population from space agencies and the United Nations. It has also hired consultants from a range of related fields, including astronauts, social scientists and climate experts. It sits waterside in a port area that was left abandoned for decades, and is now being renovated with new office blocks, apartments and restaurants. The museum is part of the city's port area renewal for the 2016 Summer Olympics. [1]
Ok, I know I'm all over the place in terms of style tonight, but the juices are flowing. I'm letting the images tell me their story, its always been that way for me. At least the most satisfying images are born this way. Its about getting out of the way, absence...it's a beautiful play of pushing the minimalism, stepping back...till you find the perfect light coming out and hinting at something more without giving it all away. Teasing you. The story is complete.
Now I hand it over to the viewer. what say you? It's yours now.
My ride to San Diego has arrived in the form of Santa Fe Train #76 at the Oceanside, California station on 02-13-1970. Thats a mighty fine set of Covered Wagons leading the coaches. On the next day I would become a civilian after my four year tour in the United States Marines. Semper Fi !!
Another shot of the Black Eyed Susans in my front yard last autumn.
Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by!
