In the same way that we donated to a carbon offset site to offset the plane emissions for the long trip, we considered giving to the Sea Shepherd Society, in recognition of Japanese practices regarding whales, dolphins and blue fin tuna.
Unfortunately, considering that the Japanese fingerprint you at the airport, we were afraid that they would find out we were Sea Shepherd supporters, and ban us from entering the country.
