One young local edges forward toward what they hope will be a particularly tasty example of herbage, seemingly not overly worried by my presence.
I'm pleased to note I've seen different rabbits in the same spot on a few occasions now, despite it being not exactly deserted, with dog walkers passing not far away, and joggers passing right through. I suspect it's quite a popular venue later on in the evenings, given it borders on a large, well-kept playing field, with a lush verge just to the left of the picture.

I went out to get some nice photos of our country side and was appauled by the amount of Fly tipping which made me write one of the linked features as well as get a Local Authorites Message too (in the other feature both on the link above.
We'll be back to documenting how nice the country is as soon as we get this mess cleared up.
To the group admins: If you want to remove this then do so I was just very ****** off that I couldn't get anything nice as all the places to park up in the country were spoiled with rubbish like this.

Cats has been performed worldwide and translated into over 20 languages. The original West End production ran for 21 years and the original Broadway production ran for 18 years

Por su comportamiento pasivo y corto vuelo se ha ganado quizás el mote con que se conoce de pájaro Bobo (Coccyzus longirostris), ave que pese a ser endémica de la isla La Española no está amenazada, como muchas otras.
En tiempo atrás gozaba de fama a nivel pueblerino por el mito o creencia de ser utilizado para combatir la anemia, especialmente en niños con poco apetito, ya que las madres en vez de llevarlos al médico para que les indicaran un estimulante o proporcionarles un vermífugo o purgante les daban de comer la carne de la especie por ser bien nutritiva.
Parecida a la Cúa
De acuerdo con Domingo Sirí Núñez, biólogo y técnico especializado en el área de ornitología (que estudia las aves), del Viceministerio de Áreas Protegidas y Biodiversidad, el pájaro Bobo pertenece a la familia de los cuculidae y al orden cuculiforme, compuesta por cinco tipos de aves, una de estas la Cúa, con la que guarda mucha similitud en cuanto a su apariencia.
El pájaro Bobo prefiere y habita en bosques densos o bien arborizados, aunque por su amplia distribución puede aparecer en muchas áreas verdes del país.
En el Gran Santo Domingo se puede observar con facilidad en los Parques Nacionales Jardín Botánico, Mirador Norte y el Zoológico.
“Hasta ahora es una especie común que juega un importante papel en el ecosistema, porque se alimenta de larvas de insectos que producen daños a la agricultura y sirven de control biológico.
Es muy parecido a la Cúa, la cual está en peligro crítico de extinción”, detalló el experto.
Diferencias
Ambos se distinguen porque el pájaro Bobo tiene un pico largo y recto, pecho grisáceo y el iris del ojo es anaranjado.
La Cúa, en cambio, tiene pecho color ladrillo intenso, ojos y pico negros, aunque este último es un poco curvo.
“En esa familia tenemos la Cúa y el pájaro Bobo del cual hablamos, así como el Coccyzus Eritropalma, que es migratorio y muy casual, al americano, migratorio también, y el Minor, que es nativo, o sea que anida aquí y en otras ciudades de la región”.
Mide entre 41 y 46 centímetros de longitud y pesa en promedio 110 gramos. Su plumaje de la parte superior es gris; la garganta es blancuzca con el mentón anaranjado. El pecho es gris claro y el vientre anaranjado. Presenta un parche rojizo rufo sobre cada una de las alas. Su cola es larga, gris pizarra con puntas blancas.

it's a tri-tip burger patty with tillamook cheddar cheese, sweet pickle relish, a slice of tomato fresh from the garden with a little best foods/hellman's mayo and bbq sauce on a toasted potato flour bun.

I fell in love with this photograph by Tipper Gore hanging on the wall at ABC Home last week. I inquired about the price (not posted, always a good sign), and was ready to shell out some money until I learned it was a mere $4000.
