O exercício multinacional ETAP-T 2023, é um exercício de aeronaves de transporte de carga no âmbito do European Tactical Airlift Centre (ETAC).
As forças participantes estarão destacadas na Base Aérea N.º 11, em Beja, e as missões estão planeadas para a zona centro e sul de Portugal Continental, tendo como preocupação a diminuição do seu impacto no meio ambiente e na população.
Durante o ETAP-T 2023, são desenvolvidos cenários adequados para cada tipo de missão, de acordo com as características e requisitos de cada aeronave. A interoperabilidade entre os diversos países é a chave para o sucesso das operações conjuntas e combinadas. Assim, ameaças aéreas e terrestres serão incluídas em cenários o mais próximo possível de situações reais.
Objetivos
O ETAP-T 2023 visa treinar e preparar as tripulações das esquadras de transporte tático da Força Aérea, garantindo que as forças participantes estejam prontas para realizar as tarefas que lhes são atribuídas em qualquer teatro de operações dentro das áreas de operação da aliança europeia. Além do treino individual, o exercício promoverá uma melhor interoperabilidade entre as diversas forças participantes.

O ETAP tornou-se uma conquista importante como parte de uma melhor colaboração de defesa europeia. Com a abertura do Centro de Transporte Aéreo Tático Europeu (ETAC), executando o Programa de Transporte Aéreo Tático Europeu (ETAP), a ambição de estabelecer a capacidade de treinamento tático de transporte aéreo avançado europeu para organizar eventos de treinamento comuns e cursos harmonizados tornou-se realidade.
O sucesso do "Centro" é óbvio: desde a fundação em junho de 2017, que os imensos projetos vão sendo avaliados pelos participantes como excelentes.
A comunidade inicial de 11 nações (BEL, BGR, CZE, DEU, ESP, FRA, ITA, LUX, NLD, NOR e PRT) cresceu com a entrada de duas novas nações, Romênia (ROU, dez 2018) e Áustria (AUT, fevereiro de 2019).
Desde o projeto de voo inicial em 2012 (EATT, ESP), as Forças Aéreas Europeias perceberam o valor agregado de ter atividades de treinamento tático em um ambiente comum e multinacional na Europa. Anteriormente, a única opção disponível para treinar tripulações de transporte aéreo no domínio tático era enviá-las para cursos nos EUA (AATTC). Earth Designs Garden Design and Build were asked to created a landscape and propose garden design in Leytonstone, London here are the details of the project.

BRIEF:
This plot was a long urban garden and was almost completely bare, but for two large, established trees. The client was attempting to construct a pond in the near right corner using green slate boulders as decoration, and requested that this should be included in the design.
The interior of the house had a modern, contemporary feel fused with Victorian architecture. As the patio doors lead directly from the kitchen/diner into the garden, the garden becomes very much an extension of the house – as such the style of the interiorwas of particular consideration in the design the exterior space.
SOLUTION:
The final design created a low maintenance garden with a simple and contemporary feel. The area directly behind the house was laid with decking, running half way down the left side of the space. New wooden fences, to replace the existing worn out wire fences, were erected down the right of the garden, onto which a selection of clematis and everlasting sweet peas were trained.
The main area of the garden consisted of a tapered, oval shaped lawn, encircled by a raised bed following the same shape as the lawn. A smaller, tapered oval raised bed in the middle of the lawn served to slightly mask the bottom of the garden, breaking up the space and helping to create a sense of intrigue.
The simplicity of the borders was echoed in the planting, which consisted of white flowers and green foliage. Cool, crisp and elegant, a white planting scheme provides an air of harmony and tranquillity, and is well suited to the style of the garden and the interior of the house. An area devoted to graceful architectural ferns helped to accentuate the simplicity
of the space and serves to provide a stunning and effective display throughout the year.
Re-designing the layout of the client’s existing pond, using state boulders together with a powerful pump to produce an effective waterfall, helped to create a striking water feature. The pond and surrounding area was given life with the addition of water lilies and other aquatic and semi-aquatic plants. A bowed Cedrus libani (ssp.atlantica) ‘Glauca’, trailing branches in the water, presented the final flourish to the space.

1978 FODEN S83 tipper. Reg No: UWJ 451S, Fleet No: T732, Operator: STEETLEY CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS LIMITED. Engine: Gardner 180. This truck was the one my father drove between 1978 and 1980 from Steetley's Leeds depot.
What I should have done is round the tips off right away, instead of “ I wonder what they look like pointy” because we didn’t care if the tips matched up or not at the time on center line, they were off by about 3-4 mm. Now that I’m doing the pointy, gotta match them up because caring became activated. Pretty close, now. Have to re-sand and polish, if I pay attention, might bring them in even better although I think it take a super great eye to tell even now once brazed to the frame.

Hej!
Nu när det är kallt ute blir mina händer torra och nariga, inte roligt. Fast jag har hittat en olja som fungerar för mig iallafall. Som jag använder varje kväll innan jag ska sova, ibland direkt när jag kommer hem från jobbet också. När händerna är som värst tar jag nagelfilen och filar på huden innan, kanske inte så idealiskt men på nått sätt måste det torra bort. Sen är det oljan som åker på.
Som lokalvårdare blir händerna förstörda fort.
Igår var jag på hälsokontroll genom jobbet och jag fick en ok stämpel i rumpan. Hihi. Trots lite skavanker. Skönt! Tack! Ha det så bra. Kram Carina

This Detroit powered International ACCO tipper was captured as it headed for the local tip East of Kwinana in Western Australia
I've, so far, found 3 types of markers that work well with the EggBot.
1: The Sharpie Ultra-Fine Permanent Marker is the suggested brand of marker for EggBot - These boast a whopping 39 colors! These each seem to have their own quirks, but can be summarized like this: The red-based colors tend to run more readily - the lighter ones worse. Plan your plots accordingly - less is more!
2: The Sharpie Extra-Fine Metallic Oil-Based Paint Markers work great, but not with other markers. The body of the marker is thicker than the Ultra-Fine series – this prevents them from being used as accents. Not only are they difficult to line up, they also flow very readily and pull the pigments of the other markers. These run around $5 a piece.
3: For a truly FINE design – try the Martha Stewart Crafts .1mm Writing Pen. These markers come in only a few colors, and are about twice as much as the Ultra-Fine Sharpies. The marker body is pretty close to the Ultra-Fine Sharpies, so they work well for detail work in conjunction with those. These markers are very light and need a little extra weight to make them work right – it helps to put the cap on the butt of the marker. *Update: New testing has shown that these work well on the metallic oil-based and metallic standard Sharpie markers.
