Check out the perfect timing on this shot. This is me firing a hand gun. We snapped the picture just in time to catch the flames.

Lost to time (mostly to music rights) mid-period Roeg film detailing the l'amour fou of a professor (Art Garfunkel) and a young headstrong Army brat (Theresa Russell, very brave at 22). Roeg cuts it all up memory-style, where one event brings up the memory of something else, eventually giving us the whole story and its creepy, brutal ending. Very enjoyable and almost a sister-movie to Zulawski's "Possession", with similar craziness and a similar back-drop. Roeg treats his audience like adults, and lets us all put it together.
as one father looking on commented, this is quite a sport we've invented . . . goes well with winter wild swimming--scheduled for the full moon tomorrow night. Porty's quite the place. You never know what we'll be up to next.
May 10, 2011, 6:48 p.m. Given the amount of construction planned for the Beaver Pond area of Kanata, for the first time the Beaver Chase 4-mile event is two loops (map). We are at the halfway point, where runners can check their time on the big clock (on a tripod, left), and have a sip of water.

Photography is about timing. And I’m not talking about shutter speed (although it is very important as well). No, I’m talking about capturing a moment. To do so sometimes takes perfect timing. Well, here it is. You can die happily knowing you’ve witness a wonderful moment captured in time thanks to the power of photography. That’s right, here we have Team Who’s the Boss raining blows on Team Drama in what appears to be two dudes kicking the crap out of two helpless girls in the wreck room of my senior year college apartment. In reality, the guy on the right is trying to shake off the girl he appears to be stomping on and the other guy was really having trouble breaking away from his dark haired diva. I’m proud of this one because I think I got the angle right and the timing (with my Coolpix, mind you) is just perfect. Cheers to another comedic moment in photography history.
I arrived at this spot along the Forth & Clyde canal just as Falkirk opened the scoring and just after I took this photo Thistle equalised. Thistle went on to win 4-1. Partick Thistle v Falkirk, SFL Division 1, 19th January 2013.
So I got tired of Carla's hooker chic look so I put her back to normal. Then, one of my wealthiest sims in this Sunset Valley game pops up, Christopher Thomas. -_-
A bun
The timing advance brought many Nissan Frontiers together. (I was not there but my husband took these pictures)!
Not quite into sports photography yet then!! I laughed so hard when I saw this shot...not quite what I'd intended!
NOt sure if these are what they said they are. Locale etc and timing fine, but I have no idea what species this is. Small Mososuar teeth, no doubt but what type of Mosasaur is the question.
This group of young men were walking up the Old Christchurch Road just as the Bourne Free 2013 parade was crossing it.
I suspect they didn't realise that Dwayne was behind them in shot with the "Thank God for Gay Men" placard!
The timing is right on par with my previous records: March 13, 2015, March 10, 2016, March 11, 2016 (which included 1 Whooping Crane), March 9, 2017, March 13, 2021, and today March 10, 2022. I was able to differentiate the groups by numbers and the time as they passed overhead. Total time observed was 2 hours and 15 minutes. (Orland Park, Cook County, Illinois USA) *Group 23
The sky was a pale, blue gray all day, as the Sandhill Cranes flew overhead at thousands of feet in the air. Viewers of this series may wonder, "Why so many shots of the silhouettes of cranes?" The answer to me is in the spectacle to behold, the balletic movements as they fly, everchanging patterns, and a symphony of sound!
