Timex. Este modelo es de 1967. Automático y con 21 rubís, cosa no muy corriente con esta firma, que se caracterizó por sus relojes económicos (pero a prueba de bomba, como destacaban en sus anuncios de televisión www.youtube.com/watch?v=i0Cbd8rzBLw&feature=related ).

Timex hizo campañas de marketing muy agresivas y se caracterizó por vender sus relojes en sitios distintos de joyerías y relojerías... concretamente, se vendieron cientos de miles en los estancos.

Timex vendió en sus mejores tiempos el 70% de la producción norteamericana de relojes. Y fue la única empresa que sobrevivió a la 'crisis' del cuarzo, que hundió o hizo tambalearse a otras empresas americanas y europeas de mayor prestigio.

Left a 1983 Eline (3462) and to the right the 2025 version. Left with the ‘viscount-calendar head Kaliber M108’. And the reissue with a Miyota–Kaliber 8215. Both with a TV case (34 mm) metal and gold-tone and a Acrylic crystal . The right one was recently for sale somewhere on the web and running without servicing it sinds it was bought in 1983! A serious statement of quality. Both watches are the same size,
