This is a door with a timeless message appropriate in this 2009 when a highly respected but black Harvard Professor (Henry Louis Gates, Jr.) is arrested inside his own home near Harvard Square for suspicion of being a burglar ... "No IntoLerance, Racism, Sexism, Homophobia, Hate ... " ... Thank you President Obama for illuminating on the stupidity of the police in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

This is one of those shots which turned out completely different to what i planned. I had the origional idea to take a shot of myself with a palm full of water and then place a swan on top of that, however the water wasn't showing up on film that well. I then moved onto simply dropping water from my hands into the kitchen sink. This was the result until i came across some old memory cards and to my surprise had some unloaded shots on them. Some of those shots were of some blue hair gel i had which contained a lot of bubbles so i thought id give it a try as a layer and hey presto! Quite surprised about the water trails in this, gives me the idea of trying it out with sand.....now im off to eat, havn't had anything since breakfast!
I'm thinking back about the summer we had, and it was a rather cold one, but we were lucky with some of the days. This shot of Rebecca is taken in Sweden. Grain added.
" Your misty clouds, your electric storm,
Were turbulent tempests in my own form
I've licked the salt, the bitter, the sweet,
Of every encounter, of passion, of heat
Your riotous color, your fragrance, your taste,
Have thrilled my senses beyond all haste
In your beauty I've known the how,
Of timeless bliss, this moment of now "

I went wandering a ways through the mostly melted woods, before the next big snowfall came calling. I hopped the Neaves Road bridge and headed south, out of sight from the man-made Dalhousie Lake behind me. Here beside the free-flowing Beeler Brook, any stagnant stillwater lies thinly iced over. After a long sunny day, the earth still radiates faint warmth in these shadows, just enough to overcome an otherwise chilling evening. So long as I lie flat, I'm like those shallow rapids – keeping just above freezing. It's such a sensory experience, all touch and timeless noises, nothing not natural. Last summer's grasses have bent over backwards, pushed down by high flowing water a couple weeks back. I feel them dry and lifeless beneath me. They make me feel alive because they aren't.

This scene could very well have been fired off in the 1970's when this bus was factory fresh. As it is, it's a contemporary shot from the Llandudno Transport Festival's road run from the Bodafon Farm base to Conwy and return, the traditional Saturday evening outing. MCA 620P is seen on the edge of Llandudno town as it gears up for the roaring run to Conwy, via Llanrhos and Deganwy. I was based at this spot for the entire rally and the weather was absolutely perfect. Very enjoyable session.

A glimpse into a bygone era of driving. The cockpit of this classic Porsche blends elegance and simplicity, where every gauge and switch carries the spirit of pure motoring.
Timeless Adele.
I'm not much of an Integrity collector - usually I'm just interested in their quality clothing and articulated bodies, but the faces rarely speak to me. BUT this time I actually went and pre-ordered a doll, and I like her quite a bit.

my first venture into infrared photography...!! I've been wanting to get into it for so long...
taking this photo i was actually testing three things at once: a cheap Haida IR720 filter, my "new" (used) Gitzo G2228 tripod (bought just 30mins prior!) and a "new" (used) Canon EF 16-35mm 2.8L. i quickly discovered that this lens isn't very good for infrared photography as it often produces a hotspot in the center of the image-- but whatever! i love this leans!!! Photoshop (and Lightroom) is my friend! oh, and the cheap filter works well. :)
"timeless" pretty much describes infrared photography to me.

A few words to assert my utmost gratitude to everyone.
Timeless words into a chase.
There are no more sad goodbyes from me to you.
We will just run out of precious time if we do…
See you on the other side of the endless vast space,
there must be more timeless words into the chase!

Roaming around the shores of Lake Tahoe on this clear evening, the natural beauty of the location was instantly evident. Truly an amazing location with so many interesting photography opportunities. The challenge for me was trying to find a way to capture that beauty, despite the incredibly boring clear skies. I decided to get creative, and pulled out the filter that never fails me in these conditions, my big stopper. With a new vision of long exposures and B&W photos in my head, I walked the rocks around Bonsai Rock again, looking for a good opportunity.
Hopping from rock to rock along the shore, I stumbled across this scene of a dead branch that had washed onto one of the rocks about ten feet out from shore (No, I did not place it there and sure as hell was not going to get wet to even get close to it). The scene was just too good to pass up, so I pulled out my medium reach lens and started playing with a few compositions. This one was my favorite, and I felt it conveys the emotions of the scene, and the vision I had in my mind the best.
Thanks for viewing and I always appreciate your comments and critique.

"Timeless Wonderland" -
I invite you to a world where there is no such thing as time....
Yesterday I had a really lovely customer to shoot with. It's gorgeous Yui Cosplay!
I'm so happy that she asked me to take pictures of her cosplay. You know what I love the most about my job? To fulfill someone's hearts desire!
She always wanted to have Alice in Wonderland pictures like that and I'm glad that I could realize her dream.
