A little trip today to the BMX track at Tankerton. Harry was desperate to get there with hes scooter. So i thought that i would be rude not to, perfect opportunity to try some more timelapse photography. please like my page at www.facebook.com/#!/DanHogbenPhotography
El primero vídeo se hizo con 232 fotografías y el segundo con 351. A falta de intervalometro improvise las fotos con una aplicación de la cámara. Espero repetir la fotografía el próximo año con un intervalometro y mas experiencia...

This is my second effort at timelapse using the GoPro Hero. This time, we shot at night, again using the GoPro suction cup on the inside of the windshield.
See the video here: vimeo.com/clintmilby/timelapse2
Although I was happy with the overall pace of the footage, one problem is clear. No matter how many times we cleaned it, there was a harsh glare coming from the outside lights through the windshield. You can actually see all of the pings and imperfections in the glass which are not noticeable during the day.
Another issue is due to shooting in Houston and that's the humidity. When it's hot and muggy outside, your front windshield will tend to fog even if your running the defroster making shooting from the inside highly problematic.
Even though the GoPro Suction Cup is awesome and has never failed, I'm a bit nervious at the aspect of putting my GoPro Hero on the outside of the car. So I'm going to have to find an additional way to secure it beyond the suction cup.

This was taken at Phrom Phong station in Bangkok during rush hour. Footage was initially in HDR but that didnt turn out well with the fast moving traffic. In total I was there for about an hour of footage. I used a tripod with a remote trigger on timer interval
A short timelapse of the evening clouds passing over the saltwater marshes of Alviso.
The first clip is composed of 302 1-sec exposures every 2 seconds (1-min per second video). The 2nd clip is 200 2-sec exposures every 3 seconds (1.5-min per second video). 720p/29.97fps.
Nikon D200, Tokina 11-16 2.8, Manfrotto 055XPROB/496R2, Cokin .9 GND Hard.
I'm annoyed at the flicker due to inconsistent exposures (everything was manual during shooting). Interestingly, it goes away after about 5 minutes of shooting.
