I found out that they were clearing some lots for new homes and I saw this excavator and decided to shoot a timelapse. I used my tilt shift lens to give it a miniature feel. i processed all the photos in lightroom 4, made the timelapse in quicktime pro and then did the final editing and added music in windows movie maker.
Its been a while since I made a timelapse. Around 500 pics (cropped and processed) and with a wav for the wind......

Been working on a timelapse project and started playing around with HDR processing. This short, 12 second sample is from a recent shoot out my studio window (hence the reflections). It's just a sample and not meant to be production quality - so please be kind and judge it for what it is. :)
Processing is sloooooooooowwwwwwwwww... but worth it. Camera - Canon 5D mark II, full res RAW file, an image every 20 seconds. DSLRremote from computer to control camera and interval. Images saved to PC.
RAW images converted to HDR with Photomatix through batch - round 1. Round 2 batch through Photomatix tonemapps the HDR's and saves them as JPEG's. Then, Noiseware Pro (in batch) to remove most of the noise.
A lot of processing time. To completely process 1,500 frames takes around 28 hours. That's about 34 minutes processing time for each second of video.
The full length of this video can be found here: (appears to be standard defination sadly at the moment).
This is my second go at doing a timelapse of a drive.
This was put together when me and some friends went to Tescos for icecream.. simple as that :) haha
Car used for this is my friends SEAT Ibiza featured in some of my photos :) thank you for driving mate!!!
I need the inside of the car lit up a bit more for next time but other than that I am really happy with this one.
Music is by Shapeshifter and the track used is "Electric Dream" Their homepage can be found here.
*The upload has killed the quality... I am attempting to upload a hd quality one to Vimeo and I will put the new link in once that is done :) it is watchable just sucks its had its quality reduced.
Time lapse video trying to capture Leonid meteor shower. No luck with meteors but cool effect with cloud bank approaching then dissipating. Shot on Night Sky Workshop 2018-11-16. Illumination on grain elevators provided by the 64% Waxing Gibbous Moon. Warmth for the evening provided by "Hot Shots"...lol
A 4hr timelapse condensed down into sub 30 seconds of the slow moving clouds over Shanghai this afternoon/evening as sunset approached. Keep an eye out for the final blast of colour sweeping over the clouds right before the timelapse ends.
Here's a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the 2008 iteration of the annual RIT BigShot at Schoen Place in Pittsford, NY.
The BigShot involves many people with flashlights and flashes running around lighting up a scene for the main camera to capture in a long exposure. While all of that was happening, I shot this timelapse of the action from up close. This edited clip covers three attempts at the BigShot, which each of which is visible as climactic activity and many flashing lights. Makes for an interesting video, no?
Another timelapse test. 164 shots @ 30s f5.6 ISO 100 over 1h30m.
Getting there. Just need to take the plunge and leave the camera outside for a few hours now, eek!
My first timelapse! Just a test, really...
Big thanks to José Francisco (http://www.flickr.com/photos/josefranciscosalgado/) for getting me started.
This is Bristol, by the way - I'm back in Blighty!

First attempt at making a timelapse. In hindsight I probably used too many frames at 300+ for 15 seconds
Made using Magic Lantern Firmware and Windows Movie Maker (I need to get something better).
