Frames taken with GoPro Hero 4 Session and Flow-Mow (V2.0) panning head, during 118 minutes, with 10 sec intervals. Video projection frame rate: 18 fps.
(Black areas on sides are added by the OpenShot video editor which forces video to 16:9 when converted to "Flickr-HD" target.)
DCIM\100GOPRO
This is my second effort at timelapse using the GoPro Hero. This time, we shot at night, again using the GoPro suction cup on the inside of the windshield.
See the video here: vimeo.com/clintmilby/timelapse2
Although I was happy with the overall pace of the footage, one problem is clear. No matter how many times we cleaned it, there was a harsh glare coming from the outside lights through the windshield. You can actually see all of the pings and imperfections in the glass which are not noticeable during the day.
Another issue is due to shooting in Houston and that's the humidity. When it's hot and muggy outside, your front windshield will tend to fog even if your running the defroster making shooting from the inside highly problematic.
Even though the GoPro Suction Cup is awesome and has never failed, I'm a bit nervious at the aspect of putting my GoPro Hero on the outside of the car. So I'm going to have to find an additional way to secure it beyond the suction cup.
Cut in Adobe Premiere CS5.5
Color Graded using RedGiant Colorista

My second attempt at doing a time lapse.

A short time lapse video from the 89th observation floor of Taipei 101.
Since I did not have a tripod with me, I had to brace the camera against the window over half an hour. As I do not have a camera capable of shooting sRAW, I was limited by the total number of shots I was able to take.
I cropped the images in Lightroom in 16:9 ratio and exported in 1280x720 resolution before assembling using QuickTime Pro. It turns out that QuickTime has some stability issues as it crashed once during assembly and I had to upload the video twice to Flickr.
Still figuring out a decent workflow and would love to hear any suggestions.
Esta é terceira timelapse que fiz hoje dia 04/03/2014 feita com a GoPro hero 3, com 602 fotos, deixei o tempo menor um pouco.
Happy Boulder Climbing - www.youtube.com/watch?v=etEXoIq92Cg
2 days at the Happy Boulders in Bishop, CA. Experimenting timelapsing climbing. Stoked... More experimenting to be had.
Canon 5D, shutter Speed 1/60 Intervals every 1 -3 seconds depending on climb. Compressed video at 15 fps and some at 10 fps.
Testing the intervalometer of the D300 with a timelapse view out my window.
One frame per minute from about 1:30pm to 8pm today, resized to 600x400 pixels in photoshop, then rendered as a .mov file at 15 fps and uploaded to flickr.
Notes to self:
-Get an AC adapter for the camera.
-Use preset white balance (daylight)
-Enable auto ISO
-Drop resolution in-camera, high res not needed
-Use program auto mode
-Use manual focus set to infinity
-Turn off the lights, even in the next room. Oops.
Iniciándome en el terrible mundo de los Timelapse. No es ninguna maravilla pero se irá mejorando...
I made some time-lapse sequences to complement the main material I shot for a new music video last week. This material is a very small part of the final video so I thought it would be fun to put it all in a row to some other music piece. I used the song "Lights will guide you home" by my friend Jonas Lindgren.

Stay tuned for a link to the music video for the song "City Lights" that this material is a part of...
Timelapse from yesterdays trip to Lindesnes lighthouse. Lindesnes is the southern tip of Norway. Here I got view to south and west. Started taking pictures right before sunset, with the moon out in the sea, during the blue hour and over in the night.
These are frames from a timelapse video I made last night using my DSLR.
Tech details: I shot these with a 300mm telefoto on a tripod, from about 6:15-6:55pm California time, as the moon was rising and going into shadow. It was partly cloudy, so the clouds made a nice effect as the moon slipped past them. I had to readjust the camera's position four or five times, to catch up with the moon as it rose. For the timelapse video, I stabilized the moon's position by sliding the layers around and keyframing their positions by hand.
My latest timelapse, sunset again.
I simply loved the water and boats moving around and around.
No one has shot a timelapse from this place so pretty happy about it :)
These are small videos. Kindly let them load fully to enjoy fully
My first attempt at timelapse with DSLR. Trying different processing techniques. This one was done with very clever LR Timelapse software.
Each frame was shot on D7000 triggered by wired remote with built in timelapse timer. 143 JPG images were shot in Aperture priority mode with 10 second intervals between the frames. This sequence looks a little bit rushed, I probably should have decreased interval between frames to 5-7 seconds. Panning was done in post production.
