of course fine for video as well but i haven't found a command line program that can do crossfades. but you could do the snippets in ffmpeg without too much trouble i believe. someday i will implement that.

This afternoon I assembled and installed a Yakima roof rack for my car, destined to transport the kayak I bought in September (but have yet to use due to travel!).

Aloing with experimenting with my RC1 wireless remote control, I decided to try my hand at a timelapse video, with about 10 images taken as the rack went up.

Okay, so not the most exciting video, but all part of the photography experimentation stage.

A short Trailer for my Timelapse-Project.

I am working on that since last spring.

And I hope that the fully video will be finished next spring:)

The Music is from my very good friends Robby and Basti, they are also working on their music-project which I can't await:)

So I hope you like it!

Cheers

This is my first timelapse which is shot in the Netherlands, Noord-Brabant, Loons en Drunense duinen.

My first serious attempt at an HDR timelapse. (My first experiment was last year.)

A full day, except I edited out the midday. Boring. Assembled from 2000 EV -1/0+1 triplets taken with my Sony DSC-W3. After averaging several response curves, pfstools was used to generate the HDR images. These where then directly tone mapped via the Fattel operator from pfstmo. The final video, with titles, was sequenced with blender. All these are open source tools. All the work was done under Linux.

If anyone wants more information on how this was put together, just drop me a note.
