St.Nicholas Church in the hamlet of Boughton Malherbe in rural Kent.
Built by Robert de Malherbe in the 13th century.
Leaning against the wall beside the church is the tombstone of Tom Baker (The timelord Dr. Who ) inscribed 1934 - but unfinished as he is still alive, he apparently bought the stone many years ago for £100.
The local pronunciation of Boughton Malherbe is Borton Mallerby.
The nearby old rectory is apparently haunted by a hunch-backed monk

I don't know what to really tell you about time because I barely understand it but over a decade ago, I came upon a band called The Wrens performing This is Not What You Had Planned at Schubas Tavern. I can't find my photos of this unfortunately and I have probably taken a million other photos since then. In another age, I'd have them stacked up from Chicago to Los Angeles but here and now it's just hard drive systems that mock me and explain that time is really an illusion...except it's not because people do die or they do have kids and those kids are now in high school. People get really sick, get married, have accidents.
This post was about The Wrens and Aeon Station, though, so here goes. I had lost touch with my feelings for The Wrens. I think I took a trip once and I left them in Madrid or something. Maybe it was because it wasn't something I could physically see or not see when I took my suitcase. This is my rambling way of explaining that I forgot about them. They weren't putting out albums and there were a whole slew of other bands who were and who I saw and photographed and time kept going over and over again.
Kevin Whelan was in the band The Wrens, who may or may not ever play again. It's anyone's guess considering how time is so wibbly wobbly (If I were a Timelord, many of my adventures might be going to old concerts). Anyway, I didn't really know if I was going to like Aeon Station as much. I thought it might be like when too much time passes between the time you see an old friend and you have nothing in common anymore. Friends, I freaking loved Aeon Station. This band's album, Observatory, is one of those albums that I'll remember melodies of at the end of the world when there's nothing to keep me company except my memories of chord progressions long past. This battle occurred in 2367 between the United Federation of Planets and the Borg Collective, marking one of the most destructive confrontations in Federation history. During this battle, 39 Starfleet ships were destroyed, and approximately 11,000 personnel were either killed or assimilated by the Borg, highlighting the vulnerabilities of Starfleet against such an overwhelming threat.
I popped down to London the other day and can confirm that its definitely beginning to look a LOT like Christmas
Fifty-three years ago, back in 1971, the village of Aldbourne was transformed into “Devils End”. The village became the setting for a classic instalment of cult BBC TV show “Doctor Who”.
Jon Pertwee was the incumbent Time Lord and the picturesque Wiltshire village was chosen as the location for the spooky five-part story, "The Daemons".
The Blue Boar pub became "The Cloven Hoof" for the story.
The Blue Boar first opened its doors in 1721 in what is now a Grade II listed building with parts dating back to the 17th Century.
The pub been the hub of the community for centuries and was linked to the 101st Airborne Easy Company (Band of Brothers), who were based in Aldbourne in the run up to D-Day.
The universe hangs by such a delicate thread of coincidences that it would be useless to meddle with it, unless like me you're a Time Lord.
