Timelapse of clouds passing over Eridge this morning. 582 frames taken at 5 second intervals and compiled in Quicktime Pro. Shots taken out of our bedroom window - would have taken more but it was bl**dy freezing indoors :)

The news of YSR's disappearance came on 2nd September morning, then the search operation started. Around 12-1PM on 3rd September, news of his death came out. His wikipedia page crossed 500 edits (including anonymous). I made a time lapse video of all the edits in that timeframe (Using autohotkey + screengrab + imagemagick + ffmpeg + python).

Timelapse of the sky. I used 83 photos taken with my Canon EF-S 24mm f/2.8 STM at f/2.8 with ISO 12800 for 13 seconds each. Edited in Lightroom and LRTimelapse
Quick timelapse of the Traveling Sprinkler in my backyard. Mainly just trying to get some hands on with LRTimelapse.
This is roughly 1 hour and 15 minutes worth of motion pushed into 3 seconds. If you watch roof on the right you can see the sun setting. I used LRTimelapse to create a linear extrapolation of the brightness so that it remained mostly constant even though the sun was setting.
A timelapse I shot of traffic moving through downtown Seattle. I hope to eventually make this part of a larger project but for now here it is.
First Timelapse ever. Shot with a Nikon D800E + Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8.
Tethered to PC and used Digicam Control to shoot the images. 750 images @ 25FPS.

This is my second effort at timelapse using the GoPro Hero. This time, we shot at night, again using the GoPro suction cup on the inside of the windshield.

Although I was happy with the overall pace of the footage, one problem is clear. No matter how many times we cleaned it, there was a harsh glare coming from the outside lights through the windshield. You can actually see all of the pings and imperfections in the glass which are not noticeable during the day.
Another issue is due to shooting in Houston and that's the humidity. When it's hot and muggy outside, your front windshield will tend to fog even if your running the defroster making shooting from the inside highly problematic.
Even though the GoPro Suction Cup is awesome and has never failed, I'm a bit nervious at the aspect of putting my GoPro Hero on the outside of the car. So I'm going to have to find an additional way to secure it beyond the suction cup.

I like the people that sit on the fountain and the lights in the building :) The frame moves a bit because I forgot my remote, so had to hold it down for about 200 photos :(

Canon 40D with EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM
This timelapse was shot from my hotel room at The Riviera in Las Vegas, Nevada.
It took a few days (and nights) to find the correct combination of camera settings and filters to get a decent looking timelapse that would properly expose from evening to broad daylight. Luckily I had time to experiment as I was in the town for about 8 days. Hopefully, I have a better vantage point one my next trip.

Here's my first test movie... it's built from images shot at 10-second intervals from the roof of my house, looking north up Church St. in San Francisco.

TimeLapse from Oct 6th 2018, the moon was finally out of the sky all night as the new moon approached which allows me to get a fairly glare free view most of the night. This is approximately 9.25 hours or so of time from dusk to dawn reduced to 37 seconds. I captured a frame every 60 seconds and animated it at 15 fps. This time lapse shows off the dark sky where I am (a green zone) so you can clearly see the galaxy core, Mars, some globs/clusters, and ends with the Pleiades and Orion complex.
Equipment is an ASI224MC witha 2.1mm wide angle lens in a weather proof box (DIY).
Timelapse of all 66 different movements the Amplitude Calibration Device (ACD) can perform on top of the Front End Receivers.

This timelapse didn't go exactly to plan, the location and the movement in the clouds was awesome, the only problem is when the clouds are moving fast it means there's plenty of wind around!
In this particular location there was zero shelter to hide behind which resulted in enough camera shake for me to abort the timelapse early as it was being blown around like nobodys business making the consecutive image jump around too much.
Pity, it had a lot of promise, so thought I would share what I did shoot and compile together with you all anyway...
