My very first try out of doing a timelapse video. All done with my Amazing canon 5DMIII and 17-40L+70 200 F4 IS lens.
My first attempt at timelapse, admittedly pretty bad. I need to drag the shutter so the bugs aren't as bad, and I had it set to aperture priority instead of manual, so there is a little variation. But, since I spent so long trying to put it together, I'm posting it anyway...
Overnight timelapse of the snow accumulation in my backyard, in Whitmore Lake, MI. About 8 inches came down overnight. It's still snowing & the camera's still rolling, but I wanted to get the overnight footage online ASAP.
Shot at 45-second intervals with Nikon D90 + 55mm f/2.8 AF Micro, at 2.8, aperture priority, center-weighted, AutoISO up to 1600.
Lit by backyard security light, with aluminum foil strips dangling in front of the motion sensor to keep it on all night.

Amateur timelapse fun. I've fantasised about making timelapse films for about as long as I can remember. Turns out it's not so difficult to do... although it's easy to see that this would have worked waaaay better if I'd used a tripod, rather than just balancing my camera on my knee while I pressed the shutter button about once every five seconds.

Used LRTimelapse identify 3 keyframes, Adobe Camera Raw to process and LRT to smooth out transitions between beginning, middle and end adjustments. Ran Image Processor in Adobe Bridge CC and then rendered the jpeg files to a video clip in Adobe Photoshop CC.

A small section of several timelapse videos I've been creating in the last couple of months. This is probably the best I've created so far, and features several meteors (I believe). This was shot just after the peak of the Geminids meteor shower.
Since getting this Z6 in June, I've been wanting to play with the internal features, like the in-camera timelapse. I set this up outside my tent on the deck and let it run for 3 hours. I stayed up for about 45 minutes of it! That was the beauty of staying in these Eco-Tents in Flamingo, the ability to leave your stuff where it was and go to bed. lol My hope was to return early in the morning and photograph the Belt of Venus in the opposing sky. That unfortunately wasn't going to happen. Around 5am the skies opened up to a downpour and never really cleared until well after I left for home. Maybe next time. :)
More experimentation with pinhole photography; slightly modified, and vastly improved pinhole body cap from my previous challenge. This time I force mounted a Nikon body cap on my K20D, because the D70 doesn't have interval shooting, and my awesome Soyu No. 44 intervelometer only works with a Pentax or EOS.

24hour timelapse from my rear window, lots of darkness, great dawn, but was annoyed with the reflection of the wall/curtain (near dusk) as I'd made a box to shield it from most of the house light reflections, still lesson learned.
Timelapse made with the Panasonic Lumix S5 original + Lumix 20-60mm at 20mm and the slider Acsoon Toprig 40. Edited for the Dynamic Zoom with Davinci Resulve Studio.
Here is my second attempt at a timelapse of Orion. This one turned out better than the first I think! I taped 2 pocket warmers to the side of the lens and it prevented all dew! :) It is worth the 15km bike ride to get to the edge of town, the sky is definitely darker here than where I live..
