Alt text: A timelapse as the sun sets over a mountainous desert landscape and paints the hills in golden light.
This has been sitting in the can since the last trip. I have decided to work on a series of tutorials. This one is showing the basic construction of an orb.
The single shots taken to construct the timelapse were of very low quality due to the very high Iso settings. But I think it does the trick.

My second time-lapse trial is a daisy. This is literally the last daisy in my garden.
This daisy took approx. 116 hours to bloom.
Footage is still not perfect yet, but it's getting there.
Shot with a7III + Tamron 28-75mm F2.8
I was hoping for a nice cloudy sunrise, but no luck. Luckily I was close to our refinery and used it for this time lapse instead.
HDR timelapse made from 4.995 shots taken with Nikon D300 and Sigma 10-20mm at 10mm.
5 sek interval between each 5 bracketed shots.
Edited in Photomatix Pro, Adobe Lightroom, Quick Time Pro and Adobe Premier Elements.

This is a timelapse over Foster City from yesterday's Firework Celebration. The boats and canoes heading over to the end of the stream was entrancing to watch. Note the many drones hovering by the fireworks.

Shot with a Sony Nex 5R using built-in timelapse application & Carl Zeiss Jena Flextogon 35mm F/2.4 . 10 sec between shots for 42 minutes.
Frames taken with GoPro Hero 4 Session during 83 minutes, with 10 sec intervals. Video projection frame rate: 24 fps.
By choosing to track the stars, weirdly the Earth turns in this timelapse sequence - which it does of course, but we rarely look at it from this reference point.
2 hours in 150 frames. Captured lots of satellites and couple of early Perseids I think.
