Description: Since I began taking timelapse in October last year, shooting time-lapse of the MW and the stars have been always on my top list. As the skies in Malaysia started to clear of the thick clouds, I went to the secluded Darul Quran in Selangor to do the shooting. However, due to my own fault, I arrived late at location with only less than 1 hour to sunrise and thus I was struggling to find a good setting as I have not been shooting the stars for quite a while. I definitely have to re-visit again.

Not much wildlife to shoot this time of year in the desert, so I will keep perfecting my sunset timelapse skills so that I will have the process perfected when I come across some awesome ones.

Actually I think this is one of the best place for sunsets here in Kuwait. So it attracts alot of people.

I used a 50mm lens at f/1.8 with a 3/5 sec. exposure. This was 195 shots. 24 frames per second on the video.A little green lens flare in the right corner.
4K TimeLapse at 25 frames per second, produced with 2,500 images in 3840 × 2160 pixels format.

A first go at a 30 sec timelapse from Seething observatory tonight .A couple of shooting stars thrown in too.
Something different.
A timelapse from my office window using a Raspberry Pi Zero and Pi Camera.
24 frames /sec, each frame is 5s apart. Total time approx 3hrs.
Still have a lot of work to do image wise, but first try at a night sky timelapse. This is 250 images shot over about 2 hours compressed in to 20 seconds of video.
Con tanto agobio de la tesis, hoy me puse a ver mis fotos viejas, pues tengo tiempo sin tomarlas y, descubrà una carpeta con unas que habÃa procesado hace meses para un timelapse que nunca edité, asà que inspirado en un videito que vi en Vimeo justamente hoy que entré a mi cuenta, me tomé una escasa horita para el relax creativo.
Este fue el resultado de la primera prueba...
Aunque puedo decir que por fin le encontré un uso al monótono cielo de Beijing! :)

I spent the last several days in Joshua Tree National Park. I began filming timelapse for my next montage and got to shoot some with a new Canon 6D, courtesy of Matthew Saville.
On the final night of the trip, we returned to our favorite campground, White Tank. Since I had already filmed the rock arch twice on previous trips, I set up my dolly at a nearby rock formation and filmed it as the crescent moon set.
Hanging out at Poker Flat last night, I learned the spare 180º field-of-view fisheye lenses (used for the allsky cameras) are nikon mount... So of course I put one on my camera and shot a timelapse.
Normally (i.e. for science purposes) you would point a lens like this straight up so you can see the entire sky. Here I decided to tilt it down a bit, which lost the southern horizon in favor of seeing a bit more ground. Now I'm not sure that was such a good idea, it didn't really add much to the shot.
This is just over 3 hours of real time. The lights on the ground are the TV crew from NHK filming a show about auroras (same cameramen that were with me on the sprites flights this summer!) They give you a good sense of how much the video is sped up, and consequently how fast the aurora is changing. There was a light dusting of snow at one point, and you can see the flakes on the lens near the end.
