I was a delegate for the Republican Party at Saturday's Convention (5/30/09). A young man named Adnan Barqawi made an excellent speech; I recorded 1 minute and 7 second of his speech and posted it on flickr on May 31, 2009. Then that night imagine my surprise when I found my video and my Description posted on YouTube by someone named Ma3lstr0m. He posted it and did not ask me if he could use it, or give me credit.
As many of you know I do not copyright my images - they have been used in cookbook, calendar, college poster, newspapers, adds, A Spanish Science Journal, and even in the Stan Lee production of The Hulk. I get paid for some and just a thanks for other - all I really ask is that people ask, use them in good taste, and give me the credit due for taking them.
Ma3lstr0m did nothing but steal them. He has not answered my e-mail. I know he is on flickr but not under the name he uses on YouTube. So watch out for him and your photos/videos. If you want pay his pages in YouTube a visit and say hello or whatever.
And I thank you who have asked and play fairly.

Frank is in love with the the Rottweiler-Pit Bull-Labrador mix next door. He name is Dottie Ann, she is four years old and massive but they love one another. I guess love is blind. Jimmy Dean and Link are fond of her also, she is big, but gentle. They have had her since she was a puppy and she and Jimmy Dean are the same age and grew up together.
When Frank Got home from the groomers he immediately had to find Jimmy Dean and Link - they hate being apart.
One of the speakers at the convention was this young man,Cadet Colonel Adnan Barqawi, Former Regimental Commander. Virginia Tech Corps Cadet. He came to this country 4 years ago. He is a Palestinian born in Kuwait. On April 17, 2009 he was sworn in as as U.S. Citizen. He is going to be a teacher in the mississippi Delta region.
This is just a short take on his speech - he spoke from the heart and had the crowd on their feet 3 time. He was fantastic and had a message that I wish all of the U.S. could hear.

Jimmy Dean, Link and Frank don't like it when I make repetitive noises at them (especially Jimmy Dean). I was using their beef bone to make noises at them just for my enjoyment.

I took Jimmy Dean, Link and Frank to Colonial Williamsburg for a 2 1/2 hour walk - this was on our trip home.

My first HDR Time Lapse. 24 shots, 6 frames per second, 8 HDR shot.
The actual clip is about 2 seconds but I extended it to 5s. I did not use a tripod for this. I actually got this series of shots by accident. I was trying to bracket the shots but I never set it up in the camera.
I was motivated by Tony's most recent upload. I have been wanting to do something like this for quiet some time but I never got around to do it.
I found out about this from one of my contact, Per Erik Sviland. Please, check his HIGH QUALITY HDR TIME LAPSE. You will be amazed! Check his tutorial too!

NOTES:
-Photos were taken with my old Canon 5D camera.
-I processed all the 24 files using Photomatix. HDR from one single file; copy the same file and set to +2/-2 and original.
-I used Quick Time Player 7.6 for OSX to create the image sequence of the 8 HDR shots, save the file to .H264.
-I imported the MOV .H264 file with iMovie 8.02 to add the music (Bella Ciao!).
-I think FLICKR washed out the colors!

I took Jimmy Dean, link and Frank on a walk to Huntington Beach on the James River today - it was very hot so we stopped for lots of water and rest breaks (we walk a total of about 1.75 miles today).

Jimmy Dean was chasing me around with his toy wanting to play fetch, then as soon as I play he changes his mind. He wants to eat, but he wants me to put his food on the rug, even though there is food in the bowls.
Jimmy Dean likes to eat his food off of the rug and when he does, the other two abandon the bowls to eat off the rug, also.
Link, Jimmy Dean, and Frank must sleep at least 16 hours a day! I Couldn't help but bug them a little.

Two Academy of Science workers feed the fish apples and they really went for it at the "Rain Forest" exhibit at Golden Gate Park on Mother's Day.

While people talk and children chatter all around him inside Golden Gate Park's "Rain Forest Exhibit" at the Academy of Science. I can only imagine that he can hardly wait for the exhibit to close at night.
Tonight unexpectedly about 9 pm and this is part of the video I did from my front landing. After about ten minutes I could smell as well as see the display.
