Our new Tim Horton's on Meadow Drive near the midcity plaza.Competition for Dunkin' Donuts. I just hope that this does not put Dunkin' Donuts out of business.
Two of my neighbors: Tim the Sailor and Hippie Tim. They were out working on the building Navy Tim bought - total renovation.
My local "Tim Hortons" has closed.
Condominiums will be growing on this site.

The last day of operation was March 31st 2012.
This was the first "Tim Hortons" location in Oakville.
There has been a "Tim Hortons" on this site since 1972 although this is actualy the second purpose built building.
For a few weeks in the 1990s they operated "Take Away Only" out of a trailer.
The first time I graced them with my presence was in 1982.
Before "Tim Hortons" the "Oakville Temperance Hall" was located on this site.

This was made for a Tim Hortons lover. It was about 1.5 feet tall! Inside was vanilla cake with chocolate buttercream and chocolate cake with mocha buttercream. The cover even showed the Birthday Girl's preferred way of drinking her coffee.

Tim McGraw and two guitarists from his band come out on the walkway in front of the stage to sing amidst his fans.
This was taken from the same location as the two previous shots, handheld, at 840mm (35mm equiv) and slightly cropped. It was taken just before sunset, and they are standing at the "T" in the walkway visible in the previous shots. ISO 800, 1/250 sec. I'm still amazed at how they can fit such a long zoom in a relatively small camera.
