A short vacation in Anapa. We only had a week, but we had a good rest. Of course, we would have liked more, but it was still great.

Tim was basically standing in the engine. That's pretty cool. I found Tim to be exceptionally interesting. He engaged me in a conversation about a photography entry for Art Prize 2011 and queried me about my goals for the 100 Strangers project, something that surprised me and forced me to examine my aim more closely. That's a cool stranger encounter. Thanks, Tim!

Tim's birthday today!! Here's a pic of him in 1984, in our first car - a Ford Cortina Estate!
What a car it was!! Tim passed his driving test and then traded in his beloved Suzuki GS850 for it - the end of his biking days! Wasn't the best car in the world - the heater didn't work, and we both nearly froze on a Christmas visit to my sister's house!!

Tim is one of my friends from the neighborhood - I love that long beard (and he has dread locks down to his knees).
This is one of my favorite photos i've took. It only came about because I went out on a whim got in my car drove to argos and bought my first lens( other then my kit lens). It was a 50mm f/1.8. Being like a big boy with a new toy i had to use it! I knew there was a track across the car park from the shop so i took a walk. this was one of the first i took. I've bought a 70-300 since then but I can't help but love my 50mm. Think I'm going to be a prime lover!
