Tiles in the portico of a house built in 1903. The house is part of an architectural unit of four houses (Rustenburgerstraat 273-279), all of which have identical tilework, which makes it probable that it is original rather than a later addition.

Tilework on a shop in the St Michel district of Bordeaux, executed 2005 by Michel Henault of Arcachon. Presumably the shop was originally a pharmacy, though it now sells Moroccan caftans.
Tilework Chimneypiece (1731) Turkey; Fritware a/k/a Stone Paste with under-glaze; fritware is a type of pottery with ground glass (i.e. frit) added to the clay | A day at the Victoria and Albert Museum (known as the V&A). The V&A is located in the Brompton district of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. It is a non-departmental public body sponsored by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, and as with other national British museums, entrance is free. It is the world's largest museum of applied and decorative arts and design, as well as sculpture, housing a permanent collection of over 2.27 million objects. It was founded in 1852 and named after Queen Victoria and Prince Albert and is one of the largest museums in the world.
the tilework was original, and really quite nice. the buzzers worked, and we each had corresponding buzzers in our apartments that allowed us to 'buzz' people in. it sounded like a pair of really angry wasps, arguing.
