A full moon always creates extreme tides and beautiful tide pools at Point Lobos State Natural Reserve. A small abalone shares a tide pool with the shell of a sea urchin, a sea anemone and a few mussels.

Living near the Rancocas Creek for about forty years and this is the lowest tide we've ever seen.

In low tide one can use the Causeway and walk to the Mount.

In high tide the boats carry the passengers to and fro...

There are lots of beautiful rocks along the north east coast of Taiwan. Once you find a place to set your tripod. You will easily get the tide with rocks and night fishing boat together during summer season.

Seasalter at low tide. The evening light enhanced the colours of the grasses and algae making it appear almost luminous . The weather-worn groyne in the foreground is a reminder of its former purpose, to stabilise the beach; a task that seems to have been abandoned.
