Icelandic thyme grows wild and is suitable for tea and lamb to name some of it's use.

Thyme. As you can see winter has been harsh on this plant. But that is what I like about herbs, takes a licking but keeps on growing.

The Moongate Garden, one of the many beautiful gardens open to the public along the Open Gardens Trail during the East Preston Festival.

So Niquin gave me a challenge to shoot something that dealt with thyme. Although now that I think about it, she might have been talking about time. I pulled this out of my spice cupboard. The funny thing is that I don't remember ever using thyme for anything I've ever cooked. The sell by date is from 19 years ago.
