VANCOUVER CITY POLICE...circa 1916.

According to my family lore, my grandfather was part owner of the (first) Indian Motorcycle shop in Vancouver, BC. (He is the civilian on the right side of the photo.) They provided the Vancouver City Police with their very first motorcycles. The first delivery was 4 bikes...This photo depicts the police department officially receiving one of them.

Anne Doherty and nurses at Roe Valley hospital wearing blue and white pinafore uniforms and lilac. Let us know if you recognise any familiar faces.

OOOOOooowweeeee i remember this like it was yesterday. They started it all especially Max Steel i've had him since i was in the 4th grade! He was $5 bucks when our Wal-Mart became a supercenter. Aahh good times!

For Throwback Thursday. If Sunny, our Golden Retriever were still with us, today (May 10, 2018) would have been her 19th birthday. Here Sunny is at an obedience class in 1999, when she was only a few months old. Our daughter, Janette is in the picture with Sunny.

Earlier this year. Definitely @usiuafrica is one of a kind premier University in Africa.

An early macro from the days when I was just starting to find my way in the land of tiny. I've re-processed the shot to match my current love affair with desaturated macros and find I'm much happier with it now.

It's always fun to go back a few years to see how styles change and what you used to do. I'm always shocked to see the improvements I've made with my photography because as each day passes it feels less and less like I'm improving.

I have to thank my contact Reggie Bishop for starting this set, it's been so refreshing and validating to compare the past to today.

It snowed maybe half an inch that year and it melted before the sun came up, but everyone completely lost it lol. Hopefully it won't be such a big deal when I move to Massachusetts! 💖
