VANCOUVER CITY POLICE...circa 1916.
According to my family lore, my grandfather was part owner of the (first) Indian Motorcycle shop in Vancouver, BC. (He is the civilian on the right side of the photo.) They provided the Vancouver City Police with their very first motorcycles. The first delivery was 4 bikes...This photo depicts the police department officially receiving one of them.

For Throwback Thursday. If Sunny, our Golden Retriever were still with us, today (May 10, 2018) would have been her 19th birthday. Here Sunny is at an obedience class in 1999, when she was only a few months old. Our daughter, Janette is in the picture with Sunny.
