...or perhaps it's the Three Musketeers and D'Artagnan holding their "swords."

Does anyone else want to offer a new title?

Jeeps by Gama (green) and RW (white). The RW is a promotional for Wicküler beer, and was a one-off for this manufacturer. It seemed odd that they never re-used the casting, but I now suspect it may have been a reworking of the Gama tooling. There are several differences, so it could also be a copy – the petrol can is a separate plastic component on the RW (as are the seats), the windscreen has a central divider and there is an extra rib across the back of the bonnet. In addition the radiator detail and headlamps are different. The dimensions, however. are the same, and even the wheels look the same, although the RW has bigger tyres.

Can anyone confirm the history of the RW model? It's also possible that Gama produced the Wicküler Jeep for RW, making improvements to their own casting. But who made the Musketeers??

If they were to form a band it would be called "Zwaan kleef aan"

at dusk, rather five but I wanted to include only those three

the time so sad

and the trees were making it more solemn

calm, quiet, standing high and confident!

Day 15 - June 13, 2009.

Chewing on a piece of grass,

walking down the road.

Tell me, how long you gonna stay here Joe?

Some people say this town don't look good in snow.

You don't care. I know.

This picture was harder to take than it looks. Propping up a camera on a MacDonalds table to achieve this angle is much harder than you could ever imagine. it involved great skills and use of numerous props.

Three Musketeers is the best chocolate bar ever. Period. End of story. Wanna fight about it?

Pretty uneventful day. I worked 8 hours - but I have the best job in the world. Well maybe not, but it's pretty chill. I love it. Maybe I'll tell you about it sometime.

The classic novel "The Three Musketeers" has been enjoying a minor rennaissance of late due to the inadvertant publicity provided by the film "Slumdog Millionaire" - that I searched my childhood photo album to retrieve this old, faded pic.

Is it any wonder when you have a group of 3 siblings or friends, they are instantly labelled "The Three Musketeers" by adults? I hear this so many times ... Three against the world. Three with the whole world as their playground. Together and forever three.

But of course, life got in the way and nothing lasts forever, as the three musketeers would eventually split apart, grow older, and lead their own separate lives, communicating with each other occassionally, or sometimes not at all.

Eventually perhaps, a reunion will surface during their golden years where remembrance and nostalgia and hope for the next generation will coincide in a blissful ceremony where the hard realities of life will step aside quietly to the background, albeit for a brief moment -- so that the unbreakable, invincible, and unstoppable three musketeers will once again take centrestage and plot to rule the world.
