The Three Musketeers panel - Luke Evans (Aramis) and Logan Lerman (D'Artagnan). Moderator Kevin Polowy is at right.
from that house I keep whining about - I was grabbing stuff fast and furious in the dumpster...any sort of envelope with contents in it went straight into the keep box..upon going through things later...I find an envelope filled with panels off old food boxes, food labels..and a few candy wrappers (!)
Great artwork in this series of 3 Musketeers ads. I'm slowly finding the set in my comic collection. This is #6.
Guys at ConstantinFilm are amazing! We've been working together with them on the Three Musketeers PhotoFunia effect and they've sent us this lovely laptop.

~My World~
My family is my world. For many years it was just my mom, my younger sister and I. We called ourselves the "Three Musketeers". We are very blessed and our family has grown. I love spending as much time with everyone as I can. This is just a silly picture taken of our feet (my mom, sister and I) on Father's Day. Thank you Mom for the fun socks :)
I was perusing my comic book collection and found a bunch of cool ads I'm going to scan in and post.
This is a very colorful advertisement for 3 Musketeers candy bar. it was found in a 1992 DC Comics reprint of Showcase #4 (first appearance of the Silver Age Flash). It is apparently No 3 in a series of ads.

I thought others might appreciate these tidbits of forgotten history of People of Color.
Please feel free to leave any comments or thoughts or impressions... I look forward to reading them!

Belanah (center) and two of the three girls throwing her in her basket toss. On the left is Becca, she is the backspot. On the right is Jordan, and she is a base. Belanah has done basket tosses before, no problem. Usually very high too. This time though...no mats. On the gym floor during time outs and half time...scary...I think I'm going to have a heart attack. She's fallen before, but hopefully she won't this time. It could potentially be very dangerous. Crossing my fingers....
Jeeps by Gama (green) and RW (white). The RW is a promotional for Wicküler beer, and was a one-off for this manufacturer. It seemed odd that they never re-used the casting, but I now suspect it may have been a reworking of the Gama tooling. There are several differences, so it could also be a copy – the petrol can is a separate plastic component on the RW (as are the seats), the windscreen has a central divider and there is an extra rib across the back of the bonnet. In addition the radiator detail and headlamps are different. The dimensions, however. are the same, and even the wheels look the same, although the RW has bigger tyres.
Can anyone confirm the history of the RW model? It's also possible that Gama produced the Wicküler Jeep for RW, making improvements to their own casting. But who made the Musketeers??

One of the last remaining gates to the ancient city of La Rochelle right down at the port. It was only while I was there and reading up a little of the history of the place that I realised that the city features prominently in the Three Musketeers! When they go into battle at the siege it was at La Rochelle where the King's Catholic Army were besieging the Huguenot Protestants therein.
