With a recrew onboard, WSOR train T4 departs Palmyra on a beautiful fall day. With a rainbow of locomotive colors on the railroad these days, getting three reds was a nice catch.

This is a very wide angle shot over the top of the Ancient Agora in Athens. On the left is the Acropolis, in the centre is the Stoa of Attalos, and on the left is Mount Lycabettus.

11/365 114 in 2014: Think Green After the low of -38C that we hit earlier this week, the sudden jump to 3C makes it feel absolutely balmy. The snow is almost gone, and the fog rolled in.
Three Sydney red gums (Angophora costata) seen at noon on a December day. The trees are currently losing their bark and the sun is at its highest point in the sky.
Is this the only snowy picture I'm going to get this year - I'm beginning to think so. I was heading home from Glenridding when I drove through a blizzard in Dockray - nearly a complete white out. I pulled over and shot this with the D800 and 85mm lens that I just happened to have in the glove box. If we'd had a good winter I likely wouldn't have put this up on here but I'm doing it to remind myself what snow looks like.
The Three Sisters, "Little", "Middle" and "Big" are the landmark for Canmore, AB. This picture was taken at a quiet spot in the Bow River.
