The high waters of the Merced River capture the reflection of the Three Brothers and the trees lining the banks in their fresh spring leaves.

Three horses graze in a filed near Storrington, Sussex. It was a cool foggy morning and they looked suitable dressed!
"-Three."
Coming down from the last 2,000 of the mountain range, the chamois flee from us.
Three chamois and three slopes bid us farewell after a cold bivouac night, stars and eggs with chorizo.... Anyway, a route as they should all be. 😄.

Three old birch boletes seen under the spruce :)
The birch bolete (Leccinum scabrum), commonly known also as the rough-stemmed bolete or scaber stalk, is an edible mushroom in the family Boletaceae. The birch bolete is widespread in Europe, in the Himalayas in Asia, and elsewhere in the Northern Hemisphere, occurring only in mycorrhizal association with birch trees. It fruits from June to October. This mushroom is also becoming increasingly common in Australia and New Zealand where it is likely introduced. Leccinum scabrum is found in mycorrhiza with birch trees. The birch bolete is edible and is especially enjoyable pickled in brine or vinegar. It is used also in mixed mushroom dishes, fried or steamed.

Some of the plants in pots are still going well, I'll enjoy them while they last.

I captured this group of three Canadian Geese as they flew past me at Huntley Meadows Park in Virginia. Although there's nothing special about flying geese, I was attracted to this photo because of the interesting soft colors of the trees behind them that are just leafing out and how they provide the interesting bokeh colors in the photo.
Three wooden boats.
These three wooden boats were high and dry once the tide of the River Deben had withdrawn.
Boat building is a major industry and it is most likely that these craft were skillfully hand crafted at the local boat building yard.

Whenever we are up in the mountains we always have to do the rounds - in case I missed something, or just to check that it's still there? I don't know why, but I always like to see the Three Sisters, maybe it's because I don't live up there and it may be the last time I get to see everything. I don't have too many shots of the sisters as we are usually there at the wrong time of day or it's too crowded. The prime reason we go to the mountains is for relaxation, fresh air - which we get a fair bit of down here, but it doesn't smell the same - you know that lovely eucalypt smell, especially at this time of year being spring. Which we are missing out on - yet another beautiful season of the year. But I do have my memories, and sometimes when I go through my shots I may come across one and I will grab hubby and say - Hon, look at this, and he will come over and say, yeah! I remember that, with a nostalgic look on his face. Being a beach boy, I am glad he misses the mountain trips as much as I do, well almost as much. It just makes each visit even more special.
Hope everyone is having a wonderful day today, and if things are not going well, try to focus on one of those special moments in your life and remember that there will be more of those on their way.
Three vintage EMD's (plus one dead in tow) power Columbia Basin's climb up the hill from Connell, wrapping around this tight S-curve just before the grade begins to level out. These SD9's (and one SD19) aren't the only relics in the photo, as the remnant of a lone telegraph pole can be seen on the right. The terrain in this part of Washington felt almost alien compared to the western half of the state where we spent most of our trip.
This is a photo of three water drops on a CD. The drops are backlit by my laptop screen which is displaying a radial gradient that was created in photoshop.

"Three's Company"
These 3 Red Fox Kits easily spotted me as I was out in the open. I hadn't had time to get under cover after I first saw them.
I only had 2-3 minutes before they moved off.
Image created on May 1, 2020 in Ottawa, Ontario. This is a very big crop as they were quite far off.

Blythe a Day: Three Dog Night
This fireplace was a garage sale dream! The seller barely had anything left, but this was sitting there on a table waiting for me. I have been wanting to make a fireplace like this for Blythe - can't beat finding one for $2! It was a wall hanging originally. I added some brick scrapbook paper. I may repaint it when I get around to it.
