There have been several live action Bo-Katan Kryze figures released, and to be completely frank while I'm not a Star Wars fan at all, I feel bad that pretty much none of the look like the actor, Katee Ssakoff.

With that said, I feel that FINALLY, salvation has come in the form of what is generally the most overpriced, the Mafex option.

Unless I get really bored, this will likely be the only Star Wars figure I will ever own, with my last purchase probably close to 7 years ago.

Accessory wise, I guess it has everything she needs? Helmet, Jetpack with sadly fixed missile, Jetpack Flame effects, Twin Blasters, Gauntlet Knife and Grapnel Hook adapters. The latter is a piece of metal wire with a non functional claw on the end of it, and I don't think it's meant to be poseable, and I don't want to find out the hard way either so I just left it at that.

The face turned out pretty much as well as I hoped and expected. I know it's been said that the actor is hard to capture but I feel like the other releases didn't exactly try that hard.

While the head sculpt is pretty good on this figure, the articulation is pretty average, effectively hampered by a bod that does OK at this sort of thing, combined with the extra bulk that is the costume. The effect of this is felt most at the hips, where you not only have the armour plating, but also the effects of the functional holsters in the area. Mind you, it's not like the upper body is a godsend either because it's only function at the default level of "OK".

Paint Applications are pretty clean. I don't own too many of these, but poor paint quality isn't really a consistent issue I hear about on these figures. Sure enough, things look pretty solid. Nice crisp, clean effects Digital Painting is still that.. it's not going to replace proper painting any time soon but it does the job.

Build Quality is kind of an interesting story. So the good news is that there were no issues with joints or any of that usual staff. The issue, however, was that the piece of the right Gauntlet that needed to be removed in order to swap in the other accessories, was effectively glued in, and taking it out was a PAIN. I think what happened was that there was a bit too much paint applied and it seeped down the crack and dried, effectively sealing it in. Luckily, it seems that I got it out intact and with relatively no damage.

Clan Wren, also known as the Wren clan, was a Mandalorian clan that was a vassal of House Vizsla. Clan Wren was led by Countess Ursa Wren and consisted of her husband Alrich Wren, their son Tristan, and their daughter Sabine, and was composed of Mandalorian warriors that donned Mandalorian armor.

Clan Wren was sided with the Imperial-aligned Clan Saxon during the Imperial Era. However, in 2 BBY, Clan Wren led an insurrection against Clan Saxon and the Empire during the Mandalorian Civil War. One notable member was Sabine, who joined the rebellion.

By the end of the Galactic Civil War, all members of Clan Wren had been killed during the Night of a Thousand Tears with the exception of Sabine.

After Mando saves the child he is confronted by Greef Karga and the bounty hunter guild. Demanding Mando gives him the child Karga threatens to kill him otherwise. Mando acts like he's surrendering just to jump in a cargo hold and fights off the bounty hunters. He lasts a while until he runs out of ammo and is closed in on. As it looks like all hope is lost his fellow Mandalorians save him out of nowhere as he flees to his ship where Greef Karga tries to get the jump on him but is shot as Mando leaves the planet.

The first time we see The Mandolorian he is wearing this crude armor. At this point in time Mando hasn't met Baby Yoda yet.

From left to right. Din Djarin with full beskar, jetpack, beskar spear and Dark Saber. Original Mando with beat up armor, blaster, and sniper rifle. Original trilogy Boba Fett with original blaster. Jango Fett dual wield blasters. Mandalorian Warrior dual wield. Mandalorian lieutenant with blaster with scope. Mandalorian Gunner with heavy duty blaster. Mandalorian Captain with dual wield blasters worth scopes.
