I think I have to hide these one day while the littlest one is at school.

I think there are enough great builders of traditional semi trucks that I don't feel I can contribute much to that subject, so I figured I'd make a themed one instead.

Maybe this is what Blacktron trucks looked like a few years before flying vehicles were brought into mass production.

This ended up looking like a mishmash of different themes, looks like there's some Tron, Road Warrior, Rocketeer helmet, The Blot (Mickey Mouse cartoons), and maybe even some Alien Queen thrown in!

-I wanted angles on this thing, there's a nice "X" shape going on when viewed from the front.

-Didn't want to use bulky smokestacks so I added vents instead.

-Lots of room underneath to add some pipes, driveshaft, axles, etc.

-I want to use a magnet to attach trailers, I just can't find the magnet in LDD.

I think my 90mm Mamiya shutter is a little slow as all of the shots are a little overblown.

I thought I was going to get more detail in the iron work, but it didn't happen.

Shot with a Mamiya RB67 with a 90mm Sekor C lens, Polaroid back on Fuji - FP100C, then extracted the negative with bleach and scanned.

I think one of the reasons I liked Luxembourg so much was that it had a lot of green space. Limited to places I could reach by rail, Luxembourg was the closest thing I had found at this point in my trip to being away from tourist crowds and large buildings since I was in walking along the River Taff in Wales on my way to Castell Coch.

The people were polite too; while I was framing my shot I noticed a runner had simply stopped and was jogging in place patiently until I was done. And this happened several times between this shot and the previous one I posted.

Overall Luxembourg was a great change of pace from the tourist centers I sought out through my trip.

Attempted an HDR - 12 images overall. I am not too kicked about the result but thought I'd post it nonetheless.

I think this was taken in June 1988. It's a shot of the old Baltic Mill, Gainsborough (demolished about 1993). This was an old riverside building (from the 18th Century), and was pulled down to make way for a new "Litton Tree" pub. More than 10 years after demolition, the site is still empty. For those who don't know, the site of this building is more or less opposite the old Wilcos building (now a sports retailer). I took this photo from the other side of the River Trent using my East German Jenaflex AM-1 camera.

that photography is art? That only certain types of photography are art? Which ones disqualify, and why? Could photography ever be Art? Or does it just mull in the lowercased a art category?

Why would a photograph that took little to no effort, such as the one above, be qualified as art? Or is it not? Is it about the effort that is placed in the work, or about the technique?

Sorry Drew and John for this question emerging again, I haven't found an answer I'm satisfied with yet.

Day 20

Now don't think we have doctors here dressed as rabbits (or rabbits dressed as doctors). But it looks funny I must say, would be a good laugh in the hospital.

To be honest take a look at the setup (in comments) to see what's really going on. It's actually the 'get well soon' card from my parents that I got after threatment for appendiciticis.I found it hilarious and wanted to use it in the project.

Feeling a lot better today! Thanks doc.
