Some shoes in my dorm room. SHOES in the ROOM! While I live in my home country, I’ve never worn shoes in my own room. Actually, in korea, people does not wear their shoes in house. But american lives all day long with putting on shoes except during only they sleep . I’m not used to this culture yet. And also all dorms are covered with carpets. Sometimes it looks not only a bit dirty also inconvenient to clean up. In my view, if thereis not carpet, the floor would be so cold. While korea has heating culture named On-dol, so we don’t have to cover something on floor, in result, we could seat on floor and don’t have to live with putting on shoes. I think this is the most different custom to live between america and korea.

Entrance to the path along the mountain (and gorge on the other side of the path) of which I forget the name.
About a mile and a bit along the, sometimes fairly treacherous looking path, it opens up into a quite impressive vista showing the main falls a little river where thereis a steal rope bridge to monkey about on.
Apparently a good number of people fall and die on this path every year - I survived though :)

On the way to Stettler along Highway 21 there is a nice old barn right after you pass Trochu. Thereis a new windfarm built in that corridor, and thus old meets new. The weather was interesting, and the barn was nicely framed.
