Iceland, a Nordic island nation, is defined by its dramatic landscape with volcanoes, geysers, hot springs and lava fields. Massive glaciers are protected in Vatnajökull and Snæfellsjökull national parks. Most of the population lives in the capital, Reykjavik, which runs on geothermal power and is home to the National and Saga museums, tracing Iceland’s Viking history. Iceland is it the most sparsely populated country in Europe.

A Juana Rivas le han "caido" 5 años de prisión, 2,5 por cada hijo, más 6 años de inhabilitación para ejercer la patria potestad sobre ellos, una indemnización de 30.000 euros por el daño moral y material hacia el italiano Francesco Arcuri, su expareja y maltratador y el pago de las costas del juicio.
Juana Rivas denunció por violencia de género a Arcuri, pero hace dos años que está a la espera de que algún juzgado de Cagliari (Italia) la procese. El juez utiliza la situación de ésta denuncia como prueba de que "no es creíble la certeza de los hechos contenidos en esta denuncia, porque ningún juzgado ha declarado la veracidad". El juez de la sentencia, Manuel Piñar Díaz, da ha entender que Juana Rivas miente en cuanto a la acusación por violencia de género, sin considerar que su expareja ya tiene una sentencia en firme por hechos equivalentes. Puede leerse éste artículo de @Ruth_Toledano, donde nos hace una aproximación al perfil de éste miembro del mundo judicial.
Lo que si parece este juez es resolutivo, escribió la sentencia el mismo día del juicio. Aquí lo dejo.

O moço falava ao celular em alguma lingua africana enquanto eu esperava ele desligar, disfarçando. Como estava demorando, apenas olhei para ele e apontei para minha câmera. Ele assentiu com a cabeça, o fotografei e fiz aquele gesto acho que budista de agradecimento, com as maos juntas, ao queele respondeu igualmente, sem desligar.
The young man was talking on this phone in some African language while I waited for him to hang up, disguising himself. As it was taking too long, I just looked at him and pointed at my camera. He nodded, I photographed him and I did that gesture, I think Buddhist, of thanking, with my hands together, to which he replied equally, without hanging up.
