From the same shoot as the previous (lunchtime at work). I greatly underestimated the difficulty of shooting reflective objects and product photography in general. It's very time consuming to place the product just so, get the lighting just right, place the (right-colored) cards in the correct spot, and make sure there aren't any specs of dust anywhere... I have much more respect for those shots now, and am very intrigued to challenge myself to do more. I think I will always be most passionate about photographing people, but my eyes have been opened.
Only post was spot healing 10,000 dust spots. Didn't bother any treatment, and I'm calling these my "before" pictures, so that I can hopefully look back on these and measure my progress some time from now.
Strobist: Alien Bee B800 above bottle through 2x baffled softbox (28") at 1/16th just out of frame, another B800 with grid camera right at 3' at 1/32nd power. Both triggered by PW. White reflector camera left.
