This is a small feather of my little bird. it looks very gentle and fragile. Light in colour and weight.
One day shy of eight years old,
When grandma passed away.
I was a broken hearted little boy,
Blowing out that birthday cake.
How I cried when the sky let go,
With a cold lonesome rain.
My mom smiled, said: "Don't be sad child.
"Grandma's watching you today."
"'Cos there's holes in the floor of Heaven,
"And her tears are pouring down.
"That's how you know she's watching,
"Wishing she could be here now.
"An' sometimes if you're lonely,
"Just remember she can see.

There was so much frost this morning that it looked like we had had a light dusting of snow.... You know when you have Flickritis you have to get a shot of it :-D

It's no secret that cats love to find the warm shafts of light that pour through a window...particularly on a cold day outside. Loki (our Bengal cat) is no different, and the particular dappling of light and shadow caught my eye here.

When I saw this three drop combo I started humming We Three Kings Of Orient Are... When I loaded the picture I found that one was a Joker (out of focus) but the reflection in the drops was very rewarding !!!!

At a revised 308.6 metres (1,013 feet) and a revised 85 storeys, it will be taller than First Canadian Place, which has been Canada's tallest building since 1975. It will also be Canada's first supertall (> 300 m) skyscraper, as defined by the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat. Construction of the building is estimated to be completed by 2028.
Located in Toronto's Yorkville neighbourhood at the intersection of Yonge Street and Bloor Street, The One is across the street from the 257-metre-tall (843 ft) One Bloor condominium building. It will also stand next to Two Bloor West, an existing skyscraper completed in 1972. The site of The One involved land assembly that includes properties at 768 Yonge Street, in addition to those at 1 and 11 Bloor Street West.
Developer Sam Mizrahi acquired the land in October 2014 for CA$300 million. Mizrahi received approval from the city to build on September 12, 2016. The total cost for the project was estimated to be $1 billion during planning stages, but that figure had ballooned to $2 billion at the time of the receivership filing in October 2023.

When I started to draw the drape in my bedroom I saw this little bit of red... I grabbed the camera and ran out side and low and behold the flower had broken bud.... I tried to take a picture on the bush but it was too dark and the flash would have ruined the shot so I cut it off and brought it in the house... Enjoy because I am:-D
