The harvest is in, the sun lower on the horizon as winter approaches near Old Rayne Aberdeenshire, afternoon dog walk with Max.
This morning on the same walk I was in full waterproofs during a continuous downpour, by early afternoon the rain stopped and by mid - later afternoon the skies went blue and the sun poured in! How lovely after a rubbish start to the day.

Look you lot,Do you really have to call a world press conference on how I manage to get six Shelties to line up, near on perfect for a photo call……After all …..I think that the blue tack idea was a good one……And yes……I agree it’s not good for your fur ……But do you really have to tell everyone……Oh ….I see…..That is not the reason for your press conference……So what is it then……Is it that you have entered the American presidential race Halo……Not yet you say!!!…..So what is it then….Oh I see…...After all the worrying about Maysie-May…..You all wanted to show the many well wishers that she is looking and feeling good, and even managed to join us on our walk today…..And now you are going to let Maysie say a big thank you to all her well wishers (Thank you all….So many beautiful words prayers that helped so much)…..and that we too would like to endorse that with another big thank you from all of us at SheltieWorld to bring to a end our good news press conference……xxx……

Of all the historic villages I've visited, Elora, Ontario is among my favourites! With old world charm and plenty of historic buildings it looks good no matter the weather and this morning was not a pretty one but with a bit of work I managed to pull out the roll!

These last few days have been hard for me
as a girlfrom my class commited suicide just last week.
It's hard to deal with these things sometimes, but I just
have to trust that God's got everything under control.
The hardest thing is knowing that she wasn't a Christian.
This photo is illustrating what eventually happens when
we "eat the fruit from the tree." I urge anyone who views this
photo to consider what will happen to you when your
last minutes come and go.

My husband and I decided to get up early this morning and drive up to Niagara to photograph the sunrise. It is quite the site, particularly from the Canadian side overlooking the horseshoe bend. Well worth the early wake up!
I've decided to stay for a while and see how it all goes - I will do as Jason suggests and seek out some new contacts :-)

"Underneath the leaves where the blackbirds turn blue
If there’s room for me
There’s room for you
Place your ear to the ground, you hear a voice
It sings the song
The whole night long
I am the melody of the fallen tree
What comes between me
You and me
So sadly transient, you’d never guess
It could ever be
So easy to see
Across a frozen field you hear a call"
(Windsor from the Derby - from the soundtrack of Marie Antoinette)
